Several members on Facebook’s Oversight Board, which decided this week to permanently ban former president Donald Trump, have connections to radical, globalist billionaire George Soros and have openly advocated for leftist agendas. (Article republished from HeadlineUSA.com) The 20-member panel reviewed Facebook’s decision to suspend Trump from the platform temporarily following the Jan. 6 uprising at the US Capitol. It decided this week that the suspension should become permanent, the Washington Examiner reported. The decision was prepared by a panel of five members and approved by a majority of the board. The breakdown of the vote was not listed. However, at least two members of the group have a history of anti-Trump rhetoric. One month before the 2016 election, Oversight Board member Nighat Dad wrote, “God forbid if Trump becomes the president, this will be my last visit to US.” Another board member, Nicolas Suzor, shared an anti-Trump article in 2017 and said, “I love this!” https://twitter.com/nicsuzor/status/829516122214916097 Fifteen of the 20 board members have either worked for or are currently in jobs funded by Soros’s leftist foundations. Afia Asantewaa Asare-Kyei, Suzanne Nossel, Nighat Dad, Maina Kiai, Ronaldo Lemos and Andras Sajo are all paid by Soros’s Open Society Foundation. In its decision to uphold Trump’s ban, the board wrote that Trump violated Facebook’s rules guiding “voice,” “dignity” and “safety” during and after the Jan. 6 rally. Trump has also been permanently banned from Twitter. Since his removal from the two major social media sites, he has consistently issued press releases, and on Tuesday launched another communication platform to deliver messages to his followers, at www.donaldjtrump.com/desk. He has said Twitter is now boring and has no plans to return to the site, if allowed. Read more at: HeadlineUSA.com
