New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer was the leading progressive Democratic candidate for city mayor until his reputation was destroyed by the leftist establishment last week. False allegations of sexual assault –
sound familiar? – were
manufactured out of nowhere, dashing his hopes of being elected. And it was just another day for the establishment Democrat Party.
In case you have not figured it out yet, leftists will destroy your life without a second thought if doing so will protect their stranglehold on power. Establishment conservatives are much the same, but leftists seem to have an added penchant for making up wild stories about their opponents, ruining not just their careers but also their livelihoods.
The claims made against Stringer, as a recent example, are baseless. Evidence proves this, and yet all the left had to do was claim it as true and the constituency apparently just followed right along. This is Democrat politics in action.
"... as has been seen repeatedly, the prevailing mentality in left-liberal politics is that even grave life-destroying accusations are to be treated as true without the need for any evidence," writes independent journalist Glenn Greenwald about the situation.
"They casually and with apparent glee ruin people's reputations and lives without batting an eye the second someone utters an allegation of sexual misconduct. And one is required to mindlessly accept such accusations as truth – never ask for evidence if it is true – if one wishes to remain in good standing in those circles and to avoid being smeared oneself as an apologist for sexual misconduct."
Establishment politics is a life-destroying sport that must be stopped
A similar manufactured witch hunt was launched against a challenger to Congressman Richie Neal, a Democrat from Massachusetts who has been in politics since forever.
Neal was first elected to the House back when Ronald Reagan was still president and the 72-year-old is now in his 16th House term, occupying the all-powerful position of Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, which is in charge of governing state revenue, taxes, social programs, and tariffs.
When 31-year-old Alex Morse, the homosexual Mayor of Holyoke, announced that he was planning to challenge Neal in the primaries – Neal has not had a credible challenger in 16 years – the Democrat establishment launched the sleaziest of smear campaigns against him.
The College Democrats of Massachusetts also participated in the smear campaign, releasing a letter at the perfect time to suggest that Morse was a sex-crazed pervert who solicited students at
Amherst College where he used to teach.
"There were no 'victims' claiming he had coerced let alone assaulted anyone," Greenwald points out about the smear campaign against Morse. "But no matter."
All of the Democrat groups that had previously claimed to support Morse suddenly switched their tune based on that letter, suggesting that it was a planned assault to keep Neal in power forever. This is how the establishment works, both on the left and the right.
Many journalists are also solicited to sabotage credible challengers to political dinosaurs like Neal. This
was uncovered by the Center for Public Integrity, which found that journalists are often hired to terrorize family members of vaccine skeptics, which also threaten the establishment.
All of this serves as evidence that the political establishment has no principles or values beyond maintaining power at all costs. This was further seen with Christine Blasey Ford's false testimony against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, which aimed to not only keep him off the bench but destroy his entire life.
"The ability to destroy someone's life with nothing more than an uncorroborated claim voiced more than
eighteen years after the alleged incident is a power with which nobody should be trusted," Greenwald says.
