Black Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot gets away with blatant racism because she's a Democrat: Refuses to grant white reporters interview access

Americans who seriously believe that Democrats are the party of "inclusion," "tolerance," "anti-fascism," "anti-bigotry," and "anti-racism" are seriously deluding themselves by constantly ignoring what is obvious: The Democratic Party is none of those things. While on the one hand the party tries to portray itself as 'diverse' and 'mindful of persons of color,' the political leaders of that party behave in distinctly, overtly racist ways -- and they get away with it because the propagandists in the mainstream media agree with them politically. Take Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot; she gets a triple pass because she's a black, lesbian woman. In recent days she raised eyebrows and drew no shortage of criticism from Americans who are legitimately trying to save our republic from culturally destructive gaslighters when she declared that on her two-year anniversary in office, she would grant one-on-one interviews with Chicago media, but only with journalists of color. https://twitter.com/MaryAnnAhernNBC/status/1394766979450425360 “In looking at the absence of diversity across the City Hall press corps and other newsrooms, sadly it does not appear that many of the media institutions in Chicago have caught on and truly have not embraced this moment,” Lightfoot noted in a statement announcing her decision. “I have been struck since my first day on the campaign trail back in 2018 by the overwhelming whiteness and maleness of Chicago media outlets, editorial boards, the political press corps, and yes, the City Hall press corps specifically,” she continued. BizPac Review also noted: Lightfoot, the city’s first black, openly gay mayor, went on to praise herself for “breaking barriers” as she lambasted Chicago media outlets for their failure to deal with alleged “institutionalized racism” on their staff. She also justified her decision to exclude white journalists for the time being as part of a lifelong push for diversity and inclusion. Lightfoot did, however, offer praise for the city’s leaders, including the “majority Black and Latinx City Council” while denouncing the City Hall press corps as being largely white. “Many of them are smart and hard-working, savvy and skilled. But mostly white, nonetheless,” wrote Lightfoot. Several took to social media to denounce this blatantly racist statement and action (and if you doubt us, imagine if a white mayor had said only white journalists would be granted access to him or her). “I am a Latino reporter @chicagotribune whose interview request was granted for today. However, I asked the mayor’s office to lift its condition on others and when they said no, we respectfully canceled. Politicians don’t get to choose who covers them,” wrote Chicago Tribune reporter Gregory Pratt. https://twitter.com/royalpratt/status/1395025840946262017 “Fact is, elected officials, candidates, celebrities, athletes etc. choose who they want to interview them all the time. They just don’t do so on the basis of race or gender. Or at least they don’t admit they do," added Washington Post reporter Paul Farhi. “Equity, it turns out, is racism. It’s as simple as that; equity is racism,” Fox News host Tucker Carlson chimed during a show following Lightfoot's announcement, adding that she went on to define “equity and inclusion” as “the north stars of this administration.” Former Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, a 2020 presidential contender and Native American, called on the Biden regime to get involved and throw some criticism towards Lightfoot. “Mayor Lightfoot’s blatant anti-white racism is abhorrent. I call upon President Biden, Kamala Harris, and other leaders of our county—of all races—to join me in calling for Mayor Lightfoot’s resignation. Our leaders must condemn all racism, including anti-white," she wrote online. Of course, the regime isn't going to say anything to Lightfoot -- and she knows it because she knows she is in a 'protected' class. As a black, female member of the LGBTQ community, she is beyond reproach, which tells you all you need to know about where our country is headed.
