Now that the "lab leak" narrative is going mainstream, will Big Tech apologize for its censorship of the truth?

There has been a sudden shift in the mainstream media's coverage about the origin of the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19). Instead of doubling down on the claim that it originated in tainted bat soup, the corporate media talking-heads are now in agreement that the Chinese Virus may have "escaped" from a laboratory in Wuhan, China. The Wall Street Journal reported on a new United States intelligence report citing three researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology who became so ill in November 2019 that they had to be hospitalized. This is right around the time when the Wuhan Flu first emerged in China, and yet the World Health Organization (WHO) continued to claim for at least two months following that there was zero human-to-human transmission of the novel virus. Anthony Fauci of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) would later admit to "fact-checkers" that the Chinese Virus may have emerged from some source other than bats. "I am not convinced about that," Fauci told Katie Sanders of Politifact when asked if he believed the Wuhan Flu developed naturally. "I think we should continue to investigate what went on in China until we continue to find out to the best of our ability what happened." "Certainly, the people who investigated it say it likely was the emergence from an animal reservoir that then infected individuals, but it could have been something else, and we need to find that out. So, you know, that's the reason why I said I'm perfectly in favor of any investigation that looks into the origin of the virus."

Remember when Politifact "debunked" the Wuhan lab theory?

Now, both the current and former heads of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) say they are open to the idea that the Chinese Virus came from a Chinese lab. More than likely, its creation was funded with U.S. taxpayer dollars via Fauci. Hilariously, Politifact recently had to remove a "fact check" it conducted last year claiming that the lab leak origin theory of the Wuhan Flu had been "debunked." Suddenly, that "debunked" theory is back on the table as a strong possibility. So much new evidence has emerged in recent months that it would be a conspiracy theory to reject the Wuhan lab leak theory. While the full extent of those responsible for its creation has yet to be determined, it seems obvious at this point that the virus is unnatural and its associated "pandemic" a deep state creation designed to plunge the world into tyranny. Early on, former President Donald Trump made the suggestion that the Chinese Virus may have originated in China. This prompted the usual accusations of "racism," followed by mass censorship across social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. "Perhaps it's a bad idea to appoint tech officials the arbiters of what constitutes a 'conspiracy theory' or 'disinformation,' and demand that they execute social media purges on that basis," remarked "roving journalist" Michael Tracey. Toby Young also pointed out that a mere year ago, the lab leak theory was dismissed by Facebook's "independent fact-checkers" as "misinformation." "Now, even Dr. [sic] Fauci is saying it should be investigated," Young added. "Good example of why Big Tech companies should not try to censor 'misinformation.'" Conservative commentator Steven Crowder also chimed in that had the mainstream media given some credence to the lab leak theory, perhaps the outcome of the 2020 election would have been a bit different with a less trashy outcome.
