Fauci's agency caught funding another study involving controversial organization reportedly involved in Chinese COVID-19 research
The National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases, which has been run by Dr. Anthony Fauci since early in Ronald Reagan's first presidential term, has been caught funding another study by a shady organization, EcoHealth Alliance, implicated in dangerous 'gain-of-function' research that likely
led to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The organization, run by Peter Daszak, has been linked to funding bat coronavirus research with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which is where most thinking people are certain COVID-19 came from, most likely as a Chinese bioweapon. Now, the group is part of a new study that has just been published that deals with -- can you guess? -- bat coronaviruses.
The National Pulse
has more details:
The publication of the study – “A Strategy to Assess Spillover Risk of Bat SARS-Related Coronaviruses in Southeast Asia” – follows intense scrutiny over Fauci’s National Institutes of Health (NIH) agency sending taxpayer dollars to fund the Daszak-led group’s “longtime collaboration” with the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Both Daszak and Fauci have lied about the type of research occurring at the Chinese Communist Party-run lab, as a host of Fauci’s emails obtained via the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) reveal the facility was carrying out “gain-of-function” research and deleted articles reveal the lab worked with live bats despite Daszak stating otherwise.
Daszak, in the past, has failed to reveal his long, extensive ties to the virology lab in Wuhan as well as the Chinese Communist Party, while recently being recused from the COVID-19 commission at the Lancet medical journal.
"Despite this, Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) is still funding EcoHealth Alliance, which has also taken massive, six-figure Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans," The National Pulse added.
The outlet reported that the study, currently in preprint, was authored by a half-dozen researchers with EcoHealth Alliance as well as Lin-Fa Wang, who has collaborated with the Wuhan lab for quite some time and has also helped author a number of other bat coronavirus studies that Fauci has funded, The National Pulse added.
And what is no doubt a 'cover-up mode' inclusion, the new study claims, as Fauci has in the past, that the COVID-19 virus most "likely" has a bat origin, noting in conclusion that bat SARS-related coronavirus illnesses happen "more frequently than previously recognized."
The abstract states:
Emerging diseases caused by coronaviruses of likely bat origin (e.g. SARS, MERS, SADS and COVID-19) have disrupted global health and economies for two decades. Evidence suggests that some bat SARS-related coronaviruses (SARSr-CoVs) could infect people directly, and that their spillover is more frequent than previously recognized. Each zoonotic spillover of a novel virus represents an opportunity for evolutionary adaptation and further spread; therefore, quantifying the extent of this “hidden” spillover may help target prevention programs.
“An average of 400,000 such infections occur each year, most going unrecognized because they cause mild or no symptoms and aren’t easily transmitted between people," the study notes further.
In
an interview with Bloomberg News, Daszak appeared to excuse funding and working with the Chinese, despite that government's ongoing efforts to supplant the U.S. as the world's dominant power while plotting and building forces to attack Taiwan, a U.S. ally.
“This isn’t about finding viruses and saying ‘this country is a high risk to the rest of the world'. This is about finding communities within countries that are at risk and trying to block them from getting infected, helping people in those communities reduce public health threats," he said.
It's bad enough that Fauci and Daszak
have lied in the past about their involvement in funding dangerous research at a Chinese facility believed to have produced a virus that has killed millions of people and nearly 700,000 Americans.
It's worse that these criminals continue to do so.
