Leftists are the real bullies: Major "feminist" website calling for out-and-out harassment of Arizona Democratic Sen. Kyrsten Sinema
Once again, Democrat-voting leftists are proving that they are everything they say the aren't, or say they hate, or say they claim to be against -- like bullying.
It is patently obvious by now that the left are the
violent revolutionaries in our society, not Trump-supporting conservatives, though clearly if the right doesn't figure out how to be just as nasty, they're going to get run over, and soon.
Take the case of Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.). She is no conservative by any means, but she isn't a Marxist lunatic, either. What's more, she represents a state that is purple at best, and as such she is obligated to serve the interests of state that sent her to Washington, not raging leftists who have an agenda that runs counter to, or afoul of, Arizona priorities.
None of that matters to the crazies at
Jezebel, a "feminist" website. They believe that Sinema's decision
not to sign off on trillions and trillions of dollars in federal spending on socialist programs is unacceptable, regardless of Arizonans' position on the issue, so they are now calling on Sinema to be publicly lambasted and harassed wherever she goes because leftists believe that bullying is okay when
they are the ones doing it,
as reported by The Post Millennial:
The senator was followed into the bathroom by a group of immigration activists who had accosted the Democrat lawmaker in her classroom while she was teaching at Arizona State University over the weekend. In the Jezebel piece, titled "Absolutely Bully Kyrsten Sinema Outside Of Her Bathroom Stall," the op-ed argues that the senator is "holding all of us back" and some of Sinema's most vulnerable constituents are "rightfully" sick of it.Jezebel staff writer Ashley Reese criticizes the "pearl-clutching" response surrounding the ASU incident and questions the "effectiveness of certain kinds of protest" that she contends will "always be up for debate."We have an idea: Maybe Ashley Reese should be subjected to the same kind of treatment she is calling on for Sinema. We get it -- she's not a public servant. But she is a public figure and if she can pull up her big-girl pants and call for the harassment of another person, surely she's tough enough to take on some harassment herself, right?
In any event, the Post Millennial notes, "Reese's language mirrors the writings of 'How To Blow Up A Pipeline'
author Andreas Malm, who has advocated for the climate change movement to 'escalate its tactics,' embrace violence, and 'move away from an exclusive focus on polite, gentle, and perfectly peaceful civil disobedience.'"
That's the problem with little cowards typing out threats behind a keyboard: Seldom are they prepared to deal with the very same violence and treatment they are advocating for others. But we digress.
Continuing, Reese says that few people are "providing a more effective and safe alternative" to how the activists at ASU behaved.
"They told Sinema, to her face—and through a door—that she was failing them and why," Reese continued. "Just a few constituents following their representative into a large bathroom to air their grievances," she added, noting there was no cursing and no violence."What should they have done instead? Call her office and direct their ire through a receptionist like surely countless Americans do each day? Write her a letter she won't read? Vote her into office again and hope that, this time, she'll deign them important enough to listen to?" Reese said.Yes, actually, all of those things are acceptable in a civil society -- and all of those things are actually not tolerated in far too many authoritarian societies around the world (like China, for instance). But there's more to this nonsense that Reese obviously doesn't get: The lunatics who followed Sinema into the loo may have actually broken the law, according to Meghan McCain:

How does Reese, or other leftists like her who claim to hate bullying unless they're advocating for it, factor that in?
