With the U.S. facing an impending collapse, preparedness has become a tantamount concept for most people. The Health Ranger Mike Adams touched on it during the Oct. 25 episode of "Health Ranger Report" on Brighteon.TV. Together with his guest The Patriot Nurse, he talked about this impending collapse and how to prepare for it. With a background in nursing and a wide focus on different specialties, The Patriot Nurse has been creating content for preparedness and survival education for a decade. According to her website, her in-person and video courses focus on "disaster medical preparedness for the layperson and healthcare provider alike." Adams himself lauded the way she presented her videos. "What people love about your presentation style … [is that] you don't beat around the bush, you tell it like it is. This is what you need to know, here's the information, here's what you got to do. [Frankly], that's refreshing these days," Adams said. "When you're in a war, you don't have time to sugarcoat things. If you are the expert in your area, it's okay to bark commands to people who carry them out. Sometimes, people are bleeding out … [and] when someone's bleeding out, [you have] got to stop the bleed." The Patriot Nurse agreed, adding that "clear and concise communication" is important in healthcare. "In this day and age, we are so over-saturated with content and that creates a lot of confusion," she said. "It's been a blessing to be able to reach out, connect and encourage people. I think that encouragement portion has been so critical in the past year." But many people seem content to just go with the flow. "I think the past few generations have had a great degree of ease, not really having to 'put up or shut up' when it came to sticking to our principles and really defending our freedoms here, particularly our health freedoms," The Patriot Nurse said.

The Patriot Nurse: "There will be no return to normal"

The Health Ranger cited the impacts of the ongoing shortages on the food supply. "We're seeing food scarcity now. The shelves are going bare. That's no longer a conspiracy theory, it's a reality." True enough, supermarkets have resorted to spreading out items just to conceal the serious shortage of key food items. (Related: Retailers now masking supply shortages by spreading out small number of products to hide empty shelves.) One video shared on social media shows folding lawn chairs arranged neatly on empty shelves at a U.S. department store. "We are at the edge of the precipice," the user who captured the footage wrote as a caption to the video post. Ashe Short, senior editor at Daily Wire senior editor, also posted a picture of a shelf at Safeway grocery with products evenly spread out in a single file. She wrote: "Our Safeway appears to be trying to hide the supply shortage by using single lines of products to fill shelves." "There will be no return to normal unless we bring that normal back. Unless we wrest normal back from the jaws of chaos, there's not going to be a return. You make 'normal' your normal every day through your choices," The Patriot Nurse said. She added that this fight to restore normality starts with standing for one's beliefs. "Non-compliance, particularly in places where an individuals feels like compliance would be [a] violation of their conscience is the only option what we have, whether it be supply line issues or economic inequality. Because of all the craziness that has come over the past two years, there will be no return to normal unless we make 'normal' normal – and not from 'oh, we have permission to make it normal again.'"

He who controls the food supply, controls the people

Adams also mentioned how the mainstream media is shaming people for stocking up on food and other supplies. "The media is now already starting … to shame people away from acquiring supplies, using terms like 'hoarding' or 'panic buying,'" he said. "Meal planning by purchasing food? That's not a panic buy; that a strategic safety net." The Patriot Nurse called it prescient buying. "It's not panic if you recognize that you, as a human being, have basic needs that have to be sustained and met – regardless of surrounding circumstances and political expediencies," she explained. "Here's the issue. Throughout eternity past, he who controls the food supply controls not only the votes – but controls the populace and their overall compliance. When you go back classically to Rome with bread and circuses, you pacify the populace by controlling the food supply and you keep them inundated with entertainment to overall distract them from the realities that confront them." The Patriot Nurse concluded: "For that reason, it is that much more important that we have a sovereignty – at least in one way shape or form – over our supply line and over our foods for sure."
