House Judiciary Committee hearing goes off the rails when Dem chairman refuses to let GOP members show incriminating video

It can't be said enough that Democrats, not Republicans and certainly not supporters of former President Donald Trump, are the true tyrants, and every single day they are in power they prove it. Case in point: The manner in which Democrats in the majority treated minority Republicans during a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Thursday. Attorney General Merrick Garland had been called in to testify about why he sicc'ed his department and the FBI on parents who have been showing up to school board meetings to denounce the teaching of critical race theory -- which claims that whites are evil and all of our founding institutions are systemically racist because whites developed them -- as well as nasty, sexually perverted materials in school libraries, as well as other culture rot that has seeped into schools. After getting a letter from the National School Board Association demanding the regime investigate parental behavior to see if it rose to the level of "domestic terrorism," Biden dutifully complied and ordered Garland into action. Garland then issued a memo to the Justice Department claiming that widespread "harassment" of school board members and teachers was getting out of hand and the Feds needed to get involved. “Threats against public servants are not only illegal, they run counter to our nation’s core values,” said AG Garland in a statement Oct. 4. “Those who dedicate their time and energy to ensuring that our children receive a proper education in a safe environment deserve to be able to do their work without fear for their safety.” “The Department takes these incidents seriously and is committed to using its authority and resources to discourage these threats, identify them when they occur, and prosecute them when appropriate,” Garland noted further in a memo. “In the coming days, the Department will announce a series of measures designed to address the rise in criminal conduct directed toward school personnel.” That memo, and Garland's directive, was the subject of Republican ire -- and questioning -- during Thursday's hearing, and they attempted to lead off with a video containing several clips of parents peacefully, emotionally, and at times forcefully, pressing local school boards to stop allowing left-wing teachers to inundate their kids with divisive, society-destroying garbage. But Democrats wouldn't allow the video to be shown, as reported by BizPac Review: After Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), the ranking member, began his remarks by objecting to a Biden administration proposal to authorize the IRS to have access to Americans’ bank accounts to monitor financial transactions, he informed committee chair Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) that Republican members had a video to present. At that, Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-Pa.), the committee’s vice-chair, rose to object and asked Jordan if Republicans had followed a “48-hour rule” in submitting the video to the committee in advance for approval. After Jordan said that Republicans had done so, Dean pushed back and asked Nadler to sustain her objection, which he did, effectively ruling that the video can’t be shown. https://youtu.be/lzxCvo_vSRw Jordan attempted to appeal, but Nadler shut him down and said that the appeal was “out of order” because his decision could not be challenged. “That’s out of order. This is not debatable,” said the New York Democrat. “What’s out of order is there is no rule that requires a 48-hour notice, that’s what out of order,” Jordan replied. “There is such a rule,” Nadler said. “There is not!” Jordan shot back. The back-and-forth went on for several more minutes as Nadler eventually read from the  48-hour protocol, leading Jordan to finally yield back the remainder of his time, complaining that to Democrats, “obviously you’re going to censor us, which is sorta the conduct of the Left today it seems.” Later, Republicans on the Judiciary Committee posted the video they were attempting to get into the congressional record. Wow, what a bunch of "terrorists." https://twitter.com/JudiciaryGOP/status/1451194183046160390 Sources include: BizPacReview.com AmericanWireNews.com NaturalNews.com
