The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) condemned a recent inter-gender mixed martial arts (MMA) fight in Poland, which was described by fans as a horrific event. In a statement, the federation said that it categorically disagrees with the ''intentionally scandalous form of entertainment, which does not represent the sport of mixed martial arts [MMA] or its values and puts women at risk. It is unacceptable that women and men should compete against each other in combat sports, essentially for reasons of safety but also fair play, and we in no way endorse this." "Media coverage has brought our attention to an inter-sex MMA bout that took place in Poland over the weekend," IMMAF CEO Densign White said. ''Although neither the promoter nor competitors have any association with IMMAF, as the international governing body for amateur mixed martial arts, I feel it is important that I state our position.''

Fans disgusted after watching the fight

Fans of the highly popular MMA expressed disgust after watching the fight, which resulted in a female fighter getting battered by her male opponent in Poland. The referee was forced to stop the fight to save Ula Siekacz, an arm wrestler and fitness instructor who regularly shows off her bulging biceps online, from further punishment from Piotr "Mua Boy" Lisowski. Lisowski was clearly the dominant fighter and showed no mercy against the hapless Siekacz. (Related: MAN-HANDLED: Ryan "Alana" McLaughlin, former US Army Special Forces soldier, colors (his) hair pink and fights MMA as a "woman," easily pummels opponent into submission.) One viewer described the scene as "horrific" as the ref was forced to stop the bout. "How is this sanctioned? This is horrific," the viewer said. Another added: "F*** everyone who took part in this. And f*** you for posting [highlights of] it." A social media app user named Mister B asked: "What in the unrivalled f*** is this?!" Another one named Martin wrote: "This is absurd." Another one said: "This is not MMA." A video where the pair can be seen trading blows emerged online. But things started to change when Lisowski landed a couple of solid blows to Siekacz's face. After composing herself, she attempted a takedown that went horribly wrong. Lisowski managed to turn and flip Siekacz onto her back. Siekacz tried to wriggle out of his hold and threw several punches to Lisowski's head, but Lisowski didn't flinch and continued to mount her before raining punches in. With Siekacz pinned down and unable to defend herself, the referee decided to halt the bout. The Siekacz-Lisowski bout wasn't the only inter-gender fight on the card. As expected, "Polish Ken Doll" Michal Przybylowicz also whipped Wiktoria Domżalska.

Woman fighter breaks silence

Siekacz later broke her silence regarding the one-sided bout. "Hi guys, I'm back alive and we go on," she wrote on Instagram, "I'm not going to get slapped by a guy anymore. I consciously took up this fight – that is, I knew what I was doing. I am waiting for some interesting suggestions and I will continue to develop. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger." She suffered a brutal second round technical knockout at the hands of Lisowski. Nicknamed "ArmPowerGirl," Siekacz was also interviewed by YouTube channel "FightsportPL" after her second round technical knockout loss at the hands of Lisowski. She seemed in good spirits while showing off her injuries. Meanwhile, another inter-gender fight in Russia had gone viral after the controversial event in Poland. The fight happened last year with professional mixed martial arts fighter Darina Madzyuk, who weighed 139 pounds, squaring off against YouTuber Grigory Chistyakov, coming in at 529 pounds, in an exhibition clash. It didn’t end well for Chistyakov, whose sheer size and reach advantage didn't prove to be effective against the smaller Madzyuk. A bantamweight, Madzyuk quickly took control of the fight with his superior striking. At one point in the contest, Chistyakov looked like he had taken the upper hand after pinning Madzyuk up against the cage under his body weight. But after the referee separated the two, it wasn't long before the professional mixed martial artist started landing some devastating shots to the head. A well-timed right hand dropped Chistyakov and the bout was eventually stopped by the referee. Sources include: TalkSport.com TheSun.com Givemesport.com Sportbible.com
