Early last week, Russian officials hinted that President Vladimir Putin would be ordering his commanders to refocus military efforts on the eastern Ukrainian regions after weeks of attacks on Ukrainian cities across the country. That announcement was viewed widely throughout the West as the Kremlin's tacit acknowledgment that its forces had become bogged down in a meat grinder as Ukrainian resistance had become unexpectedly stiff, which forced a change in strategy. Video reports from Ukraine have revealed masses of destroyed Russian tanks, vehicles, and equipment. There have also been videos of Russian helicopters being shot down as the war drags on. But make no mistake, the bigger weapons are certainly held by Putin and if he uses them, the West will have to respond. It's just a matter of time. Sources include: WeAreChange.org Politico.comBlinken said yesterday that he "can't get into" whether this report is accurate, and that the US will now be sending tanks into Ukraine.
