No surprise here: Florida judge who authorized FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago is a known anti-Trumper

The judge who signed the warrant authorizing the raid on former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate already made anti-Trump social media posts and shared content about "white privilege." On Tuesday, August 9, it was disclosed that Judge Bruce Reinhart had earlier represented workers of convicted pedophile and sex trafficker for the elite Jeffrey Epstein. Reinhart also donated to the presidential campaign of Barack Obama and provided money to political opponents of Trump during the 2016 election, including Jeb Bush. Now, Facebook posts have emerged showing how Reinhart has been anti-Trump from the start. Reinhart's anti-Trump sentiments strengthen the former president's claim that the raid on his property conducted by "arrogant" Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents was a concerted political attack and total abuse of justice. (Related: FBI raids Trump's home – DOJ planning indictment – End of the USA as we have known it) The Florida magistrate judge had also shared "woke" content on what appears to be his personal Facebook page. Josiah Lippincott, a Hillsdale College Van Adel Graduate School of Statesmanship Ph.D. candidate and writer, initially reported that Reinhart seemingly maligned Trump on Facebook in 2017.

Judge Reinhart "hurt" by Trump's tweet against John Lewis

"I generally ignore the president-elect's tweets, but not this one. John Lewis arguably has done more to 'make America great' than any living citizen," Reinhart said in his post, which was examined by the Daily Wire. "Last August, I took my son to the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma so he could understand the kind of courage and sacrifice required to live in a democratic society. John Lewis embodies that spirit. Although I’ve never met him, he is one of my heroes. "Thank you, Robert Reich, for saying what many of us feel, 'John Lewis is the conscience of America. Donald Trump doesn't have the moral stature to kiss John Lewis' feet.' Or, as Joseph Welch said to Joseph McCarthy, 'At long last, have you left no sense of decency?'" Reinhart added. That post was in response to this 2017 Trump tweet: "Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to mention crime infested) rather than falsely complaining about the election results. All talk, talk, talk – no action or results. Sad." Lewis was the representative of Georgia's fifth district from 1987 until his death in 2020. Reinhart was promoted to magistrate judge in March 2018. On Tuesday, sources told the New York Post that Reinhart endorsed the search warrant that sanctioned the raid of the former president's home. As reported by the Miami Herald, Reinhart previously represented individuals connected to Epstein. Reinhart allegedly resigned from the South Florida U.S. Attorney's Office on January 1, 2008, and the following day went to represent the staff of Epstein. Reinhart told the Miami Herald that he represented Epstein's pilots, Epstein's scheduler Sarah Kellen and Epstein's reported "Yugoslavian sex slave" Nadia Marcinkova.
