As far as DePape being a 'right-wing extremist,' like President Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, and other Democrats have falsely claimed, "DePape’s politics have little rhyme or reason," Shellenberger noted on his Substack page. "In past years DePape shared a post about Stephen Colbert’s 2006 roast of President George W. Bush at the White House Correspondents dinner; linked to videos of Disney films altered to make it look like the characters were swearing; and claimed, 'Jesus is the anti-Christ' — not exactly a litany of right-wing tropes." Republican Party Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel appeared on Fox News on Sunday to address the accusations from Democrats as “unfair.” “I want to start with the attack on Paul Pelosi, it is getting all the headlines this weekend. He is recovering from surgery, expected to do well, have a full recovery. But the The Washington Post wasting no time, writing this, ‘For many Democrats the attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband represents the all but enviable conclusion of Republicans increasingly violent and threatening rhetoric toward political opponents.’ There is still a lot we don’t know about this case, what do you make of that accusation?” Fox News anchor Shannon Bream asked. “Well, I think that’s unfair. I think this is a deranged individual. You can’t say people saying let’s fire Pelosi or let’s take back the House is saying go do violence. It’s just unfair. And I think we all need to recognize violence is up across the board. Lee Zeldin was attacked. We had an assassination attempt against Brett Kavanaugh. And Democrats didn’t refute — didn’t repudiate that. Joe Biden didn’t talk about the assassination attempt against Brett Kavanaugh,” McDaniel responded. Another disturbing aspect is that some believe Paul Pelosi may have been engaged in some other activity. During the 911 call he made to police, he referred to his attacker as a “friend,” The Daily Mail reported. Sources include: DailyMail.co.uk ConservativeBrief.comThe media are portraying the suspect in the attack on Nancy Pelosi's husband as a man fundamentally driven by right-wing ideology. But it's obvious to anyone who looks that what drove David DePape to violence was drug-induced paranoid psychosis.https://t.co/qfs5zHokni
