Former EcoHealth VP says US government helped cover up leak of man-made coronavirus

USDr. Andrew Huff, the former vice president of the medical non-government organization EcoHealth Alliance, said the United States helped cover up the leak of the "genetically engineered" Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) from the lab in Wuhan, China, where it was made. Huff, who also previously served as an Army infantryman in Iraq and as a research fellow in the Department of Homeland Security, was one of the epidemiologists working in the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) during the COVID-19 pandemic. His latest statement builds on previous statements he has made regarding the coronavirus's origins, including that it is man-made and leaked out of the lab. (Related: Keep the Republic: EcoHealth whistleblower has evidence to prove coronavirus was created in Wuhan lab, says Thomas Renz – Brighteon.TV.) In his latest claim, Huff noted that neither EcoHealth nor the other foreign groups working in the WIV have adequate control measures in place for ensuring "proper biosafety, biosecurity and risk management." All of these failures ultimately resulted in the coronavirus leaking out of the lab. Blame for this leak, Huff noted, rests at least partially on the U.S. due to its role in helping fund gain-of-function research on coronaviruses in the WIV. Furthermore, America's role in attempting to cover up its complicity in the COVID-19 pandemic should be considered one of the greatest cover-ups in history and the "biggest U.S. intelligence failure since 9/11," Huff said.

Governments of China and US lied about COVID-19 origins

Huff wrote about everything he knows regarding the origins of the coronavirus in his latest book, "The Truth About Wuhan." In the book, he wrote that the Chinese Communist Party knew about America's research works in the WIV from the very beginning. "China knew from day one that this [the coronavirus] was a genetically engineered agent," he wrote. "The U.S. government is to blame for the transfer of dangerous biotechnology to the Chinese." "I was terrified by what I saw," said Huff, speaking to The Sun. "We were just handing them bioweapon technology." While in EcoHealth, Huff has been voicing concerns regarding the company's lack of transparency or firsthand knowledge regarding what was happening in laboratories it was working in as early as 2015. He even pointed out in 2018 that the federal government of the U.S. had already issued several warnings that the WIV lacked the expertise necessary to safely manage the kind of research being conducted on coronaviruses in the lab. Huff further pointed out that he "has good reason to believe that the U.S. government was alerted to the outbreak in August or October 2019" and that, when the first cases of coronavirus were confirmed in late 2019, China "and some of their U.S. government collaborators at the Department of State, USAID (United States Agency for International Development) and the Department of Defense went into full cover-up mode." China, the lab, EcoHealth and the U.S. government have furiously denied any allegations of their possible complicity in the spread of the coronavirus, including the possibility that it was somehow man-made or leaked out of the WIV. But evidence of a lab leak has been piling up over the last two years as dozens of scientists, researchers and government officials like Huff come out to hunt for answers or to provide evidence in support of the theory. "Nobody should be surprised that the Chinese lied about the outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 and then went to extraordinary lengths to make it appear as if the disease naturally emerged," said Huff. "The shocking part of all this is how the United States government lied to all of us." Learn more about the coronavirus at Pandemic.news.
