Former head of Twitter Trust and Safety, Yoel Roth, argued for children to HAVE ACCESS to gay adult services

Before Elon Musk took over Twitter, the social media giant had no plan to protect minors from sexually explicit material. This is mainly because the former head of Twitter Trust and Safety – Yoel Roth – argued for children to HAVE ACCESS to gay adult services on the platform. Roth directly influenced Ned Segal and Parag Agrawal, who briefly served as Twitter CEO after Jack Dorsey resigned. Segal and Agrawal rejected all requests to tackle the issue of child exploitation on Twitter. When Musk took over, the group was FIRED. Will they – especially Yoel Roth – face legal repercussions for advocating adult services to children?

Yoel Roth pushes to sexually exploit children on social media with gay content

Yoel Roth became head of Twitter Trust and Safety, even after he argued for minors to have access to Grindr. This sexually explicit app allows homosexual men to hookup using GPS technology. In Roth’s doctoral dissertation titled “Gay Data,” he advocated for sites like Twitter, Facebook, and Snapchat to engage with peers about their sexuality and incorporate apps like Grindr. He wrote, “While gay youth-oriented chat rooms and social networking services were available in the early 2000s, these services have largely fallen by the wayside, in favor of general-purpose platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Snapchat. Perhaps this is truly representative of an increasingly absent demand among young adults for networked spaces to engage with peers about their sexuality.” In the dissertation, Roth advocated for greater promotion of gay lifestyles across social media – to target youth. “It’s worth considering how, if at all, the current generation of popular sites of gay networked sociability might fit into an overall queer social landscape that increasingly includes individuals under the age of 18,” Roth wrote. Roth confessed that Grindr “may well be too lewd or too hook-up-oriented for teenagers” but said “service providers should…focus on crafting safety strategies that can accommodate a wide variety of use cases for platforms like Grindr—including, possibly, their role in safely connecting queer young adults.” Arguing in favor of connecting youth to gay sex hookups, Yoel Roth said its most important for social media platforms to connect “queer young adults” or they may “drive out teenagers entirely.” "The fact that people under 18 are on these services already indicates that we can't readily dismiss these platforms out of hand as loci for queer youth culture," Roth said. "Rather than merely trying to absolve themselves of legal responsibility or, worse, trying to drive out teenagers entirely, service providers should instead focus on crafting safety strategies that can accommodate a wide variety of use cases."

New Twitter CEO Elon Musk leads the way in fighting back against child porn and the sexualization of children

In 2010, Roth tweeted in support of high school students consenting to sex with their teachers. "Can high school students ever meaningfully consent to sex with their teachers?” Roth tweeted, while linking to an article in Salon titled: "Student-teacher sex: When is it OK?" After Musk bought Twitter, he made it his number one priority to eliminate child pornography from the site. After Musk made this announcement, Roth quit Twitter. It didn’t take long for Musk to rapidly eliminate child porn from Twitter after Roth was out of the way. Perverts used hashtags to spread sexually explicit images of children. After Roth was out of power, these hashtags were easy to target and were shut down. With Roth out of the way, the conservatives who are fighting against the sexualization of children are now seeing their accounts be reinstated. Roth's censorship enterprise at Twitter had a purpose -- to indoctrinate youth into the LGBTQ mindset/culture and to eliminate any voice that would speak up about child porn and the perverted, demonic agenda to sexualize, confuse, and mutilate today's youth.
