ACTS OF TERROR: Ukraine's intel chief admits his government has MURDERED "quite a few" Russian civilians

A senior Ukrainian military official has admitted that his government has murdered "quite a few" Russian civilians, especially those who they claim support President Vladimir Putin's special military operation in Ukraine. Ukrainian Maj. Gen. Kyrylo Budanov, chief of Ukraine's Main Directorate of Intelligence, admitted this during an interview first reported by the Times of London, along with a promise that more Ukrainian attacks against Russian civilians will be coming. In the interview, Budanov was asked by the Times of London journalist Maxim Tucker whether the Ukrainian military or its intelligence services had ever killed Russian "propagandists." In response, Budanov said: "We've already successfully targeted quite a few people. There have been well-publicized cases everyone knows about, thanks to the media coverage." Since the beginning of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine, several influential figures supportive of Russia's actions have been either killed or wounded by explosives planted on Russian soil. The latest such incident occurred on May 6, when Russian writer and political activist Zakhar Prilepin suffered two broken legs in a car bomb that also killed one of his bodyguards. The attack against Prilepin took place near Nizhny Novgorod, a city 265 miles east of Moscow, deep within Russian territory. The main suspect of the car bombing is an individual named Alexander Permyakov, who is currently accused of working with Ukrainian intelligence to plant the car bomb. Other notable victims include Vladlen Tatarsky, a military blogger who was killed by an explosive hidden in a sculpture given to him as a gift; and Darya Dugina, a journalist for the state-owned RT television channel, who was killed by a car bomb thought to have been meant for her father, the political analyst and close ally of Putin, Alexander Dugin. Budanov further claimed that attacks against Russia would come "deeper and deeper" inside of internationally recognized Russian territory. Despite this, he still refused to directly comment on whether or not his country is responsible for some of these attacks. He claimed that he would only address these comments once the war is over.

Budanov: The things they call terrorism, we call liberation

In another interview, this time with Yahoo News, Budanov admitted that Ukraine will continue to kill Russians. Yahoo News reporters Michael Weiss and James Rushton were attempting to ask Budanov about Ukraine's potential involvement in the killing of Dugina and the assassination attempt against her father. Budanov's answer was: "Don't continue with that topic. All I will comment on is that we've been killing Russians and we will keep killing Russians anywhere on the face of this world until the complete victory of Ukraine." Budanov added that all of his actions are legitimate because Russia supposedly fired the first shot when it invaded and annexed Crimea and supported pro-Russian separatists in the eastern Donbas region in 2014. "They've been trying to charge me with terrorism since 2016," said Budanov. "But I want to begin by saying that the things they call 'terrorism,' we call liberation. And this began not because I went mad and started killing people in Moscow. It happened because they invaded our country back in 2014." In the interview with Yahoo News, Budanov seemed confident regarding Ukraine's prosecution of the conflict, claiming that Russia no longer has the "military, economic or political" capital necessary to attempt another serious offensive anywhere in Ukraine. "Besides that, it is completely incapable of waging serious defensive operations, and this is the very problem we are about to face," he said, referring to Ukraine's anticipated counteroffensive. Budanov further claimed without presenting any evidence that Russia's supply of offensive and defensive missiles is either running low or almost to the point of exhaustion. "They are trying to accumulate certain stocks and have them ready in order to try to disrupt our offensive," he said. "But the truth is that they have taken their stocks almost to zero." This makes Budanov confident that Ukraine will come out victorious. But even if the conflict ends in Ukrainian victory, Budanov said it will not end there, as he said Kyiv aims to invade up to 60 miles within Russian territory from the Ukrainian border to establish a "demilitarized border zone" that will deter any future attacks.
