Steve Bannon tells Brighteon TV he would like to see Robert F. Kennedy Jr. could become Trump's running mate

One of former President Donald Trump's top political advisers gave Brighteon TV founder Mike Adams an eye-opening interview earlier this week in which he made a number of explosive remarks about the upcoming 2024 presidential election. While Trump is currently the GOP frontrunner, a number of other Republicans are stepping up and throwing their hat into the ring, including South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchison, former UN Ambassador (for Trump) Nikki Haley, and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy. But it's the Democratic ticket that could get much more interesting by this time next year, Bannon believes. First, however, the "War Room" podcast giant noted that in the meantime, "lawfare" will be used against his former boss in an effort to take him out of the '24 contest because Democrats (and Republicans) know Trump can't be beaten in a fair, one-on-one race. "People have to really start to gird yourself with the fact that Trump is gonna have at least three indictments -- two federal indictments, and it may be more between now and when the primary season starts," Bannon told Adams. "I think by Labor Day, Trump will have at least three more indictments." In addition to the hope that the multiple court cases will lower his approval rating, Bannon said that it will also take up a lot of his time fighting the allegations via court appearances, lawyer consults, and case prep, all of which will take him off the campaign trail. Then he turned to the Democratic side, saying, "I don't think Joe Biden will end up being the nominee because I think it's pretty obvious he can't stand on a stage with Trump." Plus, he said, "they're not gonna be able to steal it as easily as they did in 2020." That prediction caught Adams' attention, who said that while Robert Kennedy Jr., who is already polling higher than 20 percent against Biden, is a potentially viable alternative, "the DNC establishment doesn't want RFK." "So, who are they gonna try to put in there?" Bannon responded: "RFK, I think, only has one path to power, and that is as Trump's vice president." "Remember, RFK's number is at 21 percent. When they ask those questions, [pollsters] are asking people that are registered Democrats or Independents that lean Democratic," Bannon explained, "that say they're gonna vote or are interested in voting in a Democratic primary." He also predicted that if RFK actually ran as a Republican in the GOP primary, he would get a higher percentage of votes than Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who announced he's running for the nomination this week. Bannon said that while RFK's views on the Second Amendment and the Green New Deal do not align with those of most MAGA conservatives, "you gotta kind of rank your enemies here," meaning taking some of the bad with the good for the overall good of the country at this juncture. The War Room host, whose program airs on the Real America's Voice streaming network, went on to predict that former first lady Michelle Obama will jump into the Democratic primary and that she will immediately become the party's favorite. He went on to say that he also believes that Govs. J.B. Pritzker (Illinois), Gavin Newsom (California), and Gretchen Whitmer (Michigan) could also file to run against Biden, and that in the end, it could come down "to a floor fight" at the DNC's convention in Chicago in late summer next year. "There is zero probability that the Democrats are gonna put Biden on the stage with Trump," Bannon declared, adding that "Trump is at the top of his powers" and has a commanding "presence" compared to the mind-addled and geriatric Biden.
