Elaborate hoax? UFOs floating near the moon in broad daylight claim to be captured on camera by a "computer graphics artist"
A viral video spreading all over social media has spotted two unidentified flying objects (UFOs)
floating near the moon in broad daylight.
Two white aircraft, one of which was particularly smaller than the other, were seen in the video originally posted on the social media website TikTok by a user going by the handle LaryLoo.
"What is this object near the moon?" wrote LaryLoo on the caption to his video of a camera zooming into the moon and spotting the two objects hovering above the lunar surface.
In the video, the cameraman zooms in on a shot of the waning gibbous moon in broad daylight, spotting two white UFOs seemingly hovering over the surface. (Related:
Radio signals from mobile phone towers could lead ALIENS to Earth.)
One UFO, the larger of the two, appears to remain static, while the second, smaller UFO can be seen somewhat dropping and then disappearing behind the moon, possibly to land on the surface.
The 33-second video has already been viewed over 50 million times,
been liked over 4.6 million times and has received over 100,000 comments.
It is not clear where the video was taken and if it may have been modified. Some speculate that LaryLoo might have fabricated the sighting, because the user has described himself as a "computer graphics artist" in his TikTok biography in the past.
LaryLoo's TikTok page is also full of other striking clips of computer-generated graphics, some of which wouldn't be out of place in science fiction blockbusters.
Many are skeptical of the footage's veracity
While some are skeptical, many more continue to speculate on the true origins of the two UFOs.
"The moon is a space station
used by aliens to spy on Earth," wrote one person in the comments.
A YouTube personality with over 800,000 subscribers going by the handle ThirdPhaseOfMoon posted the clip on his YouTube page claiming that it is "crystal clear footage in broad daylight" of UFOs. But this person suggested that the unidentified aircraft may be human in origin rather than extraterrestrial, possibly
a spacefaring nation that conducted an unannounced trip to the moon.
"Whatever's going on, we're looking at possible new experimental aircraft right here," he speculated.
Other commenters took the footage humorously. One person suggested that the footage may be of a cow jumping over the moon, a reference to the nursery rhyme. One other commenter also comedically suggested that the UFO descending on the moon may be "a Walmart bag."
Meanwhile, other social media users were more impressed by the camera used to capture the extremely zoomed in footage of the moon and the UFOs hovering over it.
"Are we not gonna talk about how his phone can zoom in so much?" asked one commenter.
"My man has the iPhone 64 pro," replied another person.
One other commenter suggested that the cameraman may have used a Nikon Coolpix P1000 to film the clip, a very advanced camera that can zoom up to 125 times that goes for well over $1,000 on online marketplaces.
"Those things are amazing," one commenter replied.
