It took the threat of contempt of Congress charges to convince Meta (Facebook) CEO Mark Zuckerberg to finally cooperate with Republicans in their probe into the collusion taking place between Big Government and Big Tech. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Oh.) called off a markup session to formally file contempt of Congress charges against Zuckerberg, citing a "newfound commitment" by Zuckerberg and Facebook to cooperate with the Judiciary Committee's investigation. On Twitter, now known as X, Jordan unleashed what he has dubbed the "Facebook Files," which like the Twitter Files is a trove of bombshell revelations about the extent to which the Biden White House coerced the social media platform into censoring inconvenient information about Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) "vaccines." Jordan detailed at length how Biden and his cronies basically threatened Facebook, ordering the social media platform to assault Americans' First Amendment rights. He procured "never-before-released" internal documents containing emails between the Biden regime and Facebook employees. "We are facing continued pressure from external stakeholders, including the [Biden] White House and the press to remove more COVID-19 vaccine discouraging content," one of those emails, sent to former Meta Chief Operation Officer Sheryl Sandberg, states. (Related: Facebook is already scheming up ways to steal future elections with a new set of "content guidelines.")

Karine Jean-Pierre suggests censorship and First Amendment violations are warranted when "public health" is on the line

In another email detailed in the Facebook Files, Meta Global Affairs President Nick Clegg implicated White House Senior Adviser Andy Slavitt, who was "outraged" over the spread of a meme exposing the dangers and ineffectiveness of Fauci Flu shots. "[Slavitt] was outraged – not too strong of a word to describe his reaction — that we did not remove this post which was third most highly ranked post in the data we sent to him," Clegg revealed. Apparently, the Biden White House became upset at the meme, which depicted actor and climate lunatic Leonardo DiCaprio pointing at a TV set along with damning words about Chinese Virus injection injuries. "What did the Biden White House want removed? A meme," Jordan wrote on X. "That's right, even memes weren't spared from the Biden White House's censorship efforts." After telling Slavitt that removing the meme would represent a "significant incursion into traditional boundaries of free expression in the U.S.," Slavitt apparently scoffed and discarded the warning, proceeding with the censorship efforts anyway. Following the release of the Facebook Files, a reporter asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about it. "How much is the White House now working with social media companies to remove concerned posts or things they didn't want," asked Fox White House correspondent Edward Lawrence, to which Jean-Pierre dodged the question: "As I've repeated many times from here, we have promoted responsible actions to protect public health, safety and security when confronted by challenges like a deadly pandemic and foreign attacks on our elections." In other words, the Biden regime feels as though censorship that violates the First Amendment is warranted because it allegedly helps to protect public safety. Responding to the release of the Facebook Files, MRC vice president Dan Schneider had this to say about why the Biden regime behaved as it did with Twitter: "Biden's number one tactic for reelection is silencing conservatives and he is using every tool, legal and illegal, at his disposal to keep the public ignorant of his disastrous performance," Schneider said in a recent interview on "The Ingraham Angle" on Fox News. "We should be shocked to see how he and his staff coerced Big Tech to do their illegal bidding, but it is no surprise at all for those who are following this story."
