Daily Wire's Ben Shapiro warns of NUCLEAR WAR unless U.S. gives Israel MORE WEAPONS

Neoconservative propagandist Ben Shapiro, known as the co-founder of the Daily Wire, has warned of nuclear war unless the U.S. gives Israel more weapons. Ben Bartee, an American journalist based in Thailand, expounded on this threat in an Oct. 15 piece and outlined Shapiro's warning. His story came more than a week after Hamas operatives attacked a music festival in Israel, killing hundreds. In response, Israeli forces launched airstrikes on the Gaza Strip. "If Hezbollah gets in, Israel will have no choice but to unleash the [Israeli] Air Force. If Israel is forced to the wall, the possibility of [a] nuclear exchange is extremely high," Shapiro warned. "That is why it is very important that the U.S. provide the material aid to Israel." Such a threat led Bartee to remark: "This is not politics; this is blackmail." With America's arms stockpiles being directed to Ukraine's attack against Russia, Israel asking for additional arms could compromise U.S. national security in the process. "Notice that the propagandists no longer try to offer elaborate, tortured geopolitical explanations for why Israel deserves to be forever propped up by the U.S. with no tangible benefit to the average American. They now skip straight to the threats of nuclear war," Bartee continued. "Criticizing the Israel lobby is framed as tantamount to something called antisemitism. Its proxies, like the [Anti-Defamation League], censor and economically punish Americans who challenge the status quo under the guise of fighting 'antisemitism.'" (Related: ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt says 'anti-Zionism is genocide,' 'every Jewish person is a Zionist.') The Bangkok-based journalist denounced Shapiro and other Israel "apologists" for "threatening to drag the United States into nuclear holocaust if it asks basic questions like 'Why exactly should we send more American money to Israel for war when we already give it $4 billion annually, all while Americans sleep on the streets and infrastructure crumbles?'" Bartee concluded his piece: "This is not the behavior of an ally, much less that of 'America's best friend.'"

Shapiro MAD at Tucker for his America First stance

Prior to this call for nuclear war, the host of "The Ben Shapiro Show" blasted former Fox News host Tucker Carlson. Shapiro reportedly denounced the former "Tucker Carlson Tonight" headliner for putting the welfare of Americans first instead of Israelis. The spat stemmed from the 29th episode of Carlson's "Tucker on X," where Shapiro and Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy were guests. Both Carlson and Ramaswamy stressed that Hamas was wrong to invade Israel and that Israel has every right to defend itself. However, the question of "moral outrages" over videos of Hamas executing Israelis took a different turn. "There's not a city in this country … that doesn't have some constellation of drug-addicted young people living outside. They call them 'homeless.' They're drug addicts, and they're addicted to drugs that were imported across an open border, allowed by the Biden administration. They're dying, more than 100,000 a year," said Carlson. "Now, you can call it 'genocide,' you can call it whatever you want. But it's the death of over 100,000 Americans a year and the living death of millions more who are living outside." Carlson's remarks did not sit well with Shapiro, who proceeded to call the former Fox News host "pathetic." He continued: "It's pathetic that he engaged in this sort of nonsense. To go this far afield to link the issues, the only reason you’re doing this is because you wish to downplay the atrocity that just happened in Israel." The former "Tucker Carlson Tonight" host found allies on X (formerly Twitter), who posted in support of him – among them Keith Woods, the host of the "Understanding Platonism" podcast. "Shapiro is almost in tears of rage because Carlson is taking a sensible America First stance on events in the Middle East," he posted. Woods also stressed that the Daily Wire co-founder "does not represent the average American conservative who is more concerned about their country than a dispute on the other side of the world."
