New evidence has come to light further proving that the pipe bombs found in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 6, 2021, were planted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The evidence, first highlighted by conservative political commentator Jack Posobiec, shows that the pipe bombs found in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 6, 2021 by the FBI are "almost identical" to the dummy pipe bombs the bureau uses for training. (Related: Cover-up? Investigation into Jan. 6 "pipe bombs" planted outside RNC, DNC headquarters was half-hearted because FBI didn't want to find out the truth.) "Has anyone ever pointed out that the [Jan. 6] pipe bomb looks almost identical to the ones the FBI uses in training?" said Posobiec. Speaking on InfoWars, host Harrison Smith agreed with Posobiec's assessment, stating: "It is exactly, exactly what's used in FBI training materials. Same brand, same size. Everything is exactly the same." Smith further argued that the FBI has a long history of entrapping individuals by using informants to provide them with fake bombs.

FBI increases reward for information on J6 pipe bomb to $500,000

Two pipe bombs were found in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, D.C. on Jan. 6. One was found outside the headquarters of the Republican National Committee while another was found outside the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee. Both look identical, with wires rigged to a kitchen timer attached to the pipe shaft. Neither bomb detonated. To this day, the FBI has yet to find any information regarding the person who left the two pipe bombs. To help spur the investigation, on Jan. 5, the day before the second anniversary of the Capitol incident, federal investigators multiplied the reward for information about the suspect from $100,000 to $500,000. In a news release, the bureau noted that "many of the components used to build the pipe bombs were widely available for purchase in-store and online," including the 1x8-inch threaded galvanized pipes, the end caps, the kitchen timers, wires, metal clips and the homemade black powder found stuffed inside the two pipes. "In raising the reward for information about the pipe bomb suspect from $100,000 to as much as $500,000, the FBI and our partners are seeking to encourage the American public to take a fresh look at our Seeking Information website, which includes images and video of the suspect, the suspect's backpack, the suspect's shoes, the explosive devices and a map of the route the suspect walked the night the pipe bombs were placed," said the FBI in a press release. The FBI further noted that it has been working for nearly two years alongside members of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Capitol Police and the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia with little to show for it. The bureau said it has "conducted approximately 1,000 interviews, visited more than 1,200 residences and businesses, collected more than 39,000 video files and assessed nearly 500 tips."
