Tara Reade says DOJ, FBI have been HARASSING HER since she came forward with sexual assault allegation against Joe Biden
RT contributor Tara Reade blasted the
Department of Justice (DOJ) and the
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
for harassing and trying to silence her after she came forward with sexual assault allegation against President Joe Biden.
In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Reade said that her attorney had filed a complaint with the
Office of Inspector General about the way she was treated by the FBI and DOJ. According to her, there was no response so they filed a $10 million tort claim for invasion of privacy, emotional distress and violation of state and federal constitutional rights. The lawsuit also demands that the FBI open any files against her and then expunge them.
Reade believes
the FBI is monitoring her social media accounts and finances. The DOJ and FBI allegedly took all her Twitter and email communications. "Name it all, my social media was taken under sealed warrants," she revealed.
She said the FBI violated her First and Fourth Amendment rights over the years and also requested an investigation into the FBI after "becoming the target" of a federal grand jury investigation. This came after she asked for FBI protection due to several death threats.
Reade alleged that
Biden sexually assaulted her in 1993 in a Capitol Hill office building. She worked for Biden as a Congressional aide in 1992 and 1993. According to her, Biden pushed her against the wall in a senate corridor and penetrated her with his fingers.
Although the assault happened in 1993 and she only revealed this during the 2020 election campaign, Reade lodged a report with the Senate right after the purported incident. She is still trying to get the report files unsealed. (Related:

Reade told
RT she hopes her example will motivate others to come forward and tell their stories. "I've been contacted a couple of times in the past by women who wanted to come forward, but because of what happened to me, were too frightened," she said.
Reade blasts mainstream media for putting her in bad light
Reade further claimed that the mainstream media in the United States had contributed to her persecution by amplifying innuendos and portraying her in a negative light. She added that authorities labeled her a traitor because of her recent criticisms of the U.S. economy and her views on geopolitical matters, such as the situation in Ukraine.
According to Reade, she is still seeking aid from House Republicans who can provide her an
outlet to publicly testify about her complaints under oath. Reade's attorney, Jonathan Levy, sent a letter to House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) on March 21. The letter explains Reade's intent to testify remotely from any mutually agreeable location regarding her experiences "as the target of an unconstitutional
FBI special operation to silence her."
Reade said that members of Congress, including Reps. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Nancy Mace (R-SC), have previously expressed support toward her claims against Biden. But aside from "liking" social media posts, there has been "no direct communication, no reach out."
"I'm angry that nobody is helping me," said Reade. "I feel like it's on the back burner, but maybe in the immediate future something will happen, something will give."
