Christian lifeguard sues LA County over discriminatory Pride flag displays - government-endorsed LGBT violates religious liberty

In a legal filing that is worth replicating – hint, hint – a longtime lifeguard at a stretch of beach on Los Angeles County's Pacific Palisades neighborhood is suing his employer for both requiring him to work just feet away from an LGBT Pride flag all last summer and for punishing him after he decided to remove the abominable display from near his lifeguard station. Jeffrey Little, an evangelical Christian who has worked for LA County for more than 22 years, filed the suit in federal court on May 24, just one week before the annual June Pride month festivities commence. Little, a lifeguard captain, is represented by the Thomas More Society, a conservative Catholic legal group known for challenging other culture war issues like abortion, the stolen 2020 election, and so-called "same-sex marriage." Things are getting bad in and around Los Angeles proper and the county at large as LGBT extremists push to mandate the flying of Pride flags during the month of June. Last year, the county's board of supervisors voted to require that many government buildings fly the so-called "Progress Pride" flag during Pride month, including at lifeguard facilities at Will Rogers Beach. Little's stretch of beach is a known LGBT hotspot known as Ginger Rogers Beach, which means he is routinely exposed to the worst kinds of perversion, as well as the symbols and flags that represent it. Because of his religious and moral convictions, Little requested an exemption from having to fly the Pride flag, which represents all forms of sexual perversion and debauchery. Little told his superiors that he is a devout evangelical Christian who "adheres to traditional Christian beliefs regarding the moral illicitness of same-sex activity, the immutability of sex regardless of gender identity, and the view that all people are children of God regardless of their skin color." "The views commonly associated with the Progress Pride flag on marriage, sex, and family are in direct conflict with Captain Little's bona fide and sincerely held religious beliefs on the same subjects," Little's suit further states. (Related: Did you know that during the Wuhan coronavirus [COVID-19] "pandemic" some pastors coerced their congregants into getting "vaccinated" because this, they claimed, is what Jesus would do?)

Take a stand, believers

Little's request was granted, though the new lifeguard station he was moved to, Dockweiler Beach, had a Pride flag hoisted on its pole, as did two other towers at the same beach. The flags were not supposed to be there, but a chief, Fernando Boiteux, decided to fly them there anyway in defiance, which Little says constitutes a form of religious discrimination against him. "I was confused [as] to why they were flying as I was under the impression that I would not have to deal with working in these conditions," Little's complaint reads. Little proceeded to remove all three of the flags only to have Boiteux hand-deliver to him a "direct order" to put the flags back up, or else. The day after he refused, Little was suspended from his role with the department's background investigation unit, which is responsible for investigating "emergency incidents" on the beach. Little says he also later received a death threat in the mail at his home calling him a "fascist pig." The same letter, presumably from someone who parades around claiming "love is love," threatened harm on Little's children. This year, Little once again requested a religious exemption from having to fly any Pride flags. This time, though, the county is not cooperating and is instead threatening to subject him "to discipline and eventual termination for failure to raise the Progress Pride flag." The suit names the fire department along with three higher-ups in the lifeguard division as culprits who are discriminating against Little, who is requesting a "standing exemption" in perpetuity from having to fly Pride flags, as well as damages for "severe emotional distress." The fight against LGBT perversion is a spiritual war. Learn more at Transhumanism.news. Sources for this article include: Yahoo.com DocumentCloud.org NaturalNews.com
