FBI staffer in hot water over posts lamenting Trump's botched assassination

An employee of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is in hot water over her social media posts lamenting that former President Donald Trump survived the July 13 assassination attempt on him. The National Pulse disclosed the name of the FBI staffer as Jenna Howell. She reportedly shared an image showing the Grim Reaper attempting to grab a Trump doll from a claw machine. "The memes are gold," Howell captioned the image, tagging a friend. She also posted remarks aimed at those against political violence on her Facebook profile. The post read: "[You all] gun-toting, Second Amendment-loving hillbillies better just sit down and stay quiet unless you're [going to] change your mind on gun control." Former FBI analyst Chris Toompas confirmed to the Federalist that Howell is indeed a bona fide employee of the bureau. According to him, she previously worked in the Firearms Background Check Unit of the FBI's National Instant Criminal Background Check System, which assesses individuals' eligibility to acquire firearms. She is currently assigned to the FBI's Identity Research Department, Toompas added. The erstwhile FBI analyst also highlighted a contentious environment within the bureau, recounting an incident that happened years ago when Toompas was suspended and eventually terminated for refusing to comply with the federal government's Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine mandate. He had reportedly worked alongside Howell before he was fired. "I went to Facebook during my suspension to voice my disdain for the [vaccine] mandate and share my suspension story," he shared. "When I did so, [Howell] threatened to report me to the FBI for violating [the bureau's] Facebook policy. The irony." The FBI hates those who like Trump

"Anti-Trump views among the FBI are not uncommon, as at least one whistleblower has claimed the bureau has forced out those who vocally support Trump," the Pulse noted. Back in November 2023, the Pulse's Jake Welch recounted how several whistleblowers from the federal law enforcement agency revealed the fascist and biased targeting high-ranking FBI officials did on their subordinates. These agents, former members of the military who later joined the bureau, found themselves discriminated for their political beliefs. Some were even targeted for removal from the agency, according to the whistleblower disclosures presented to the House Judiciary Committee. According to the disclosures, several former servicemen were accused of "disloyalty to the U.S." after displaying characteristics similar to those of a Trump supporter. FBI Security Division Deputy Assistant Director Jeffrey Veltri and Assistant Section Chief Dena Perkins made the accusations against the agents. The characteristics reportedly included refusal to wear a mask, refusal to get injected with the COVID-19 vaccine and participating in religious activities. The whistleblowers continued that agents were even stripped of security clearances following the accusations. Worse, they were forced out despite there being "no indication that any of the individuals had any affiliation to a foreign power or held any belief against the United States." Moreover, the disclosures also revealed that Perkins ordered investigations to contact 10 police departments where employees lived to determine whether the allegations were real. "During the process, Perkins was attempting to provide evidence so she could terminate [an] employee because he was 'disloyal to the U.S.,'" they continued.
