Armstrong Economics: West's Neocons PERSISTENT to bring in WWIII

Martin Armstrong of Armstrong Economics believes World War III isn't far fetched, as the Western powers have allowed neoconservatives to maneuver the Russia-Ukraine war for this purpose.

He put forward this claim in a July 3 piece, noting that the modern neocons have spent their entire lives hating Russians for particularly personal reasons. One example he mentioned was Victoria Nuland, former under secretary of state for political affairs at the Department of State. Nuland resigned from her position in March.

According to Armstrong, Nuland hand-picked the "unelected government" in Ukraine and instructed it to incite a civil war. Kyiv complied with this instruction by attacking the Russian-speaking Donbas region to lure Russian President Vladimir Putin into war. But the mainstream media makes no mention of this reality, instead parroting the narrative that Putin invaded Ukraine unprovoked. The founder of Armstrong Economics added that the neocons "rigged the election" to put Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky into power. In turn, the comedian-turned-chief executive stood up and declared that Ukraine would rearm with nuclear weapons pointed at Russia a day before Moscow launched its "special military operation." Armstrong also mentioned that Nuland, alongside U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, were all Jewish with heritage in Ukraine. These three neocons who have found power under the Biden administration claimed that their families faced persecution under the Russians. "That is a conflict of interest and nobody in Congress dares to investigate," he lamented. "These people have spent their entire lives hating Russians for particularly personal reasons." "These neocons have waged endless wars since [the] Vietnam [War]. They lied to the American public to justify their wars. As long as the West continues to allow the neocons to control [the Russia-Ukraine war], then there will be no stopping WWIII."

Meanwhile, Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya disagreed with the claims of former U.S. President Donald Trump. The presumptive Republican presidential nominee has publicly vowed to find a way to stop the Russia-Ukraine war in one day if he is elected to a second term. "They're dying, Russians and Ukrainians. I want them to stop dying. And I'll have that done. I'll have that done in 24 hours," Trump said during a CNN town hall in May of last year. He also reiterated this on June 27 during his debate with incumbent U.S. President Joe Biden, saying: "If we had a real president, a president that knew – that was respected by Putin, he would have never invaded Ukraine." But according to Nebenzya, "the Ukrainian crisis cannot be solved in one day." He insisted that the war could have ended in April 2022 when Moscow and Kyiv were "very close" to an agreement, but it did not happen due to the meddling of then-British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. The Russian diplomat also blamed Ukraine's western backers for blocking the April 2022 peace deal and telling Kyiv to keep fighting Russia. According to Nebenzya, Zelensky "is running around with his so-called peace plan which, of course, is not a peace plan but a joke." During a two-day 'peace conference' in Switzerland last month, nearly 80 countries called for the "territorial integrity" of Ukraine to be the basis for any peace agreement to end the war.
