Pastor Steve Cioccolanti has called on the Christian Church in America to wake up now. He made this call during a recent interview with the Health Ranger Mike Adams on the "Health Ranger Report." Cioccolanti, who has served as the the senior pastor of Discover Church in the Australian city of Melbourne since 2000, said the U.S. itself and American Christianity need to be awakened. According to the pastor, the U.S. already has the best churches and the best preachers who appear on TV and podcasts. But he lamented after coming back to America that the entire nation had become stagnant in its faith because of lukewarmness, prosperity, abundance and blessings – which have turned into a curse. Americans have taken these things for granted and become massive spiritual consumers rather than going out to preach the gospel, added Cioccolanti. "I'm here to awaken the U.S. and awaken American Christianity. I know it's not popular. I'm not going to be the most popular speaker in churches around here, but you got to wake up and stop squandering the wealth and the riches. And I don't just mean money, but the absolute wealth that God has given to Americans, even the wealth of time," he told the founder of Brighteon.com and Natural News. Meanwhile, Adams mentioned that America is ready for the pastor's message of truth, which isn't self-censored compared to several pastors from other churches. These pastors, he noted, are fearful of speaking about anything related to the present time, politics, economy and other things. To this, the Australian pastor commented that people are currently living through fear that clouds over America. But he followed up by saying that people don't have to be fearful if they have faith in God.

Cioccolanti: America has become a legalistic country

According to Cioccolanti, this fear stems from the fact that America has become a legalistic country where people are afraid of lawsuits, the law and the weight of lawfare. He mentioned that people are not only feeling afraid, but are also being destroyed for lack of knowledge. The Australian pastor nevertheless pointed to the power of prayer, expressing belief that success in prayer is found in the Scriptures. He also cited how he is now teaching people to pray differently, such as praying for justice. "I pray these prayers over the years. I've just found the work, and Christians haven't been taught to pray that in America," Cioccolanti said. The pastor told the Health Ranger that he also prayed for former U.S. President Donald Trump, who was recently spared from an assassination attempt. Cioccolanti noted that people who have been out of fellowship for a while are now aware of what is going on. These awakened individuals can no longer stand the assault happening on the hearts, minds and freedom of people, he continued. Moreover, he stressed the Church's need to awaken to the concept of justice. "People must become 'just people' and 'agents of justice' who will be ready to welcome the second coming of the Lord Jesus. We've got to wake up the Church and we've got to wake up America," he said.
