PBS correspondent Judy Woodruff APOLOGIZES for airing fake Reuters story vilifying Trump and Netanyahu
PBS correspondent Judy Woodruff perpetuated an elaborate conspiracy theory and aired a FAKE story about Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Appearing at the 2024 Democratic National Convention, (DNC) Judy Woodruff claimed that Trump is intentionally conspiring with Netanyahu to stall peace negotiations between Israel and Hamas until after the 2024 presidential election.
“The reporting is that former President Trump is on the phone with the prime minister of Israel, urging him not to cut a deal right now, because that, it’s believed that would help the Harris campaign,” Woodruff said during
Monday’s PBS NewsHour coverage of the DNC.
Woodruff claimed that Trump was actively trying to stop a Gaza ceasefire negotiation because a peace deal now would make Kamala Harris and Joe Biden look good heading into the final months of the election season. This narrative was repudiated at the source, and Judy Woodruff was forced to APOLOGIZE for airing this fake story, this baseless conspiracy theory. This
fake story was designed to damage the reputation of former President Donald Trump and sway the public’s perception concerning his integrity.
By actively spreading false stories at the DNC and on television, the taxpayer-funded PBS has become an activist organization. The once-trusted PBS is now spreading propaganda for the Democrats – aiding and abetting a coup d'état. The contrived coronation of Kamala Harris – who was installed by super-delegates and mega-donors – was conducted without a vote or a real democratic process.
PBS’s erroneous reporting relied on Reuters, a “fact checking” organization
Woodruff’s apology defers to false reports contrived by
Reuters and
Axios. “I want to clarify my remarks on the PBS News special on Monday night about the ongoing cease-fire talks in the Middle East,” Woodruff stated. “As I said, this was not based on my original reporting; I was referring to reports I had read, in
Axios and
Reuters, about former President Trump having spoken to the Israeli Prime Minister.”
“In the live TV moment, I repeated the story because I hadn’t seen later reporting that both sides denied it. This was a mistake, and I apologize for it,” Woodruff added.
In recent years, Reuters has positioned its organization as a “fact checker” and arbiter of the truth over all political discourse. With this “fact checking” authority, Reuters has only proven to be a
propaganda machine of the Democratic Party. So-called journalists are now relying on activist organizations
like Reuters, and are quick to parrot the Democrat’s lies. They are not doing any due diligence to get the story right and are not operating in journalistic integrity.
PBS has yet to issue a former apology for airing the deceptive report about Trump. PBS receives significant funding through the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), which receives its funds from taxpayers. In 2024, CPB received $525 million from taxpayers, which includes $367 million set aside specifically for public television programming. PBS should be held to strong journalistic standards in an election year where communists could leverage their reporting to maintain power.
Biden-Harris are incapable of negotiating a peace deal
During his illustrious political career, Joe Biden has been incapable of negotiating a peace deal in the Middle East. When it comes to Israel, Biden and Harris have been unable to negotiate a ceasefire in Gaza, as they play both sides of the fence for political gain. Their inability to lead on this issue has led to further acts of
violence and escalation in the Middle East. It’s a pattern that has been going in Ukraine, Afghanistan, Iraq and many other Middle Eastern countries for decades.
By making up a phony story and blaming Trump for the foreign policy failures of the Biden-Harris regime, PBS has exposed their network as an extension of the Harris campaign, and a government that derives its power from the escalation of war, censorship and division.
