Election interference: Independent presidential candidate Cornel West says Kamala Harris tried to bribe him to drop out, offering him cash and work

The Kamala Harris campaign is so desperate to seize the White House this fall that it is bribing the competition to drop out in exchange for cash and other employment. Cornel West, who is running for president on the Independent ticket, revealed to independent journalist Jordan Chariton on the Status Coup News podcast that the Kamala campaign is playing dirty – and right out in the open. "A number of them reached out just saying I need to get on the bandwagon – this is a historic moment, especially a black moment," West explained about how the exchanges went. "I told them, 'I said you all just talking to the wrong brother. You can offer resources or position or what have you – that's not what I'm all about. That's not the game I play.'" When asked what specifically he was offered by the Kamala campaign, West said there were "various kinds of offers" that he "won't go into concrete details of" because he was not interested in making that "the focus of the interview." Kamala engaged in election tampering

Chariton continued to press West about what types of jobs Kamala was offering to him, including whether they were high-level jobs or janitor-level positions. West revealed that he does not think the positions were "that high up," but still. "Did they offer you a cabinet position, a lower position, and offer to pay off any of your campaign debt?" Chariton then asked of West. "Well, they offered serious, substantive conversation about all of those that could lead toward some real ...," West continued before his words became unintelligible in the audio. You might be thinking that it is odd for Kamala to reach out to someone like Cornel West, who admittedly you might not have ever even heard of, who is probably not a direct threat to Kamala. The reason she is concerned is because a judge in Michigan just ruled that West must be allowed to appear on the state's presidential ballot since he could cause Kamala to lose there. Michigan has a large Muslim population, not to mention a sizeable black population, that opposes Kamala's stance on the war in Gaza – she supports it, by the way. Is it possible that West could cost Kamala the state of Michigan, handing it over to Trump? West is also now qualified to appear on the ballots of several other swing states, including Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. All of these are states that many believe Trump won in 2020 before fraud took him out in the end. West's policies include universal healthcare for all Americans, no further military intervention as he supports peace, giving black people reparations for past slavery, and defunding police departments all across the country. On YouTube, someone wrote in the comments that he met West, a professor, about 35 years ago in Washington at a friend's house. He says he is very impressed by West's "intellect and honesty." "That's bribery and election tampering," wrote another about what the Kamala campaign is trying to do to neutralize West as a threat. "And debt relief? That's another story entirely." "They never wanted Kamala so they are beginning to let the skeletons out of the closet," wrote another. "Trust me or don't. This doesn't end well for the Democrat Party or the RINOs.
