The seventh sermon of the Health Ranger Mike Adams, part of his 100 Sermons series, discussed the importance of
receiving freedom from Christ and walking in the Spirit.
He based this sermon from
the fifth chapter of St. Paul's Letter to the Galatians in the New Testament. The chapter opens with this verse: "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free" (Galatians 5:1). Further down the chapter, the apostle to the Gentiles urges the people of Galatia to "walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh" (Galatians 5:16).
True Christians, i.e. those who practice the Christian faith, don't have to adhere to the rules in the Torah such as circumcision as their faith in Christ is much more important. Nevertheless, Adams remarked that following the Torah's rules means nothing if it does not make one a person of faith. Rituals are inconsequential to a person of faith liberated by Christ, he added.
Christ had set believers free to enjoy liberty, so they would no longer live in bondage. Given that people now have freedom, Adams said they can choose health and abundance.
The Health Ranger explained: "You can choose financial freedom versus financial enslavement. You can choose freedom of speech versus self-censorship. You can choose to live a life of disease prevention through natural herbs, superfoods, nutrition, supplements, sprouts, home gardening and many other things. Or you can choose to live a life of processed foods, pharmaceuticals, doctor visits and health insurance payments.
"You don't have to go through the rituals. You don't have to pay penance to God for the sins that you've committed in your life. You are free to reform yourself right now, to change your mind and future, and to experience abundance and the great gifts of life.
"Let your actions reflect the alignment that you have in your heart. If you are in alignment with Christ, and you are fully expressing the liberty and freedom that he created for you, that he unleashed for you then embrace that and make the decisions in your day-to-day acts that will create the most joyful, the most abundant, the most healthful future for you and those people around you." Believers freed by God must use that freedom in service to others
According to Adams, believers who have been liberated by Christ must use that newfound freedom to serve one another with love. They must not waste their life and Christ's blessings, as they have been given the greatest gifts from Heaven.
To enjoy this freedom and live a life of joy abundance, health and prosperity, they should avoid toxic chemicals and substances such as drugs and alcohol. Unhealthy addictions like gambling and sex should likewise be shunned.
"So, practice living in alignment with your faith, make better decisions each and every day, detoxify your life, drink clean water. Don't be afraid to sweat because sweating is detoxification and let your decisions and actions when it comes to food, water, superfoods, supplements or the things you put on your skin, let that also reflect the purity that you are seeking in your spiritual life because those two things go hand in hand, they go together," Adams said.
"You cannot achieve spiritual purity if your blood is polluted with all kinds of toxic chemicals, whether it's too much alcohol or cocaine, or all kinds of herbicides and pesticides. You need purity of blood in order to walk in alignment with purity of spirit. You can't abandon one and hope to achieve the other. They go hand in hand and these kinds of teachings are all throughout the Bible, both in the Old and New Testament."
