Report: Pentagon has a super top-secret UFO data retrieval program called "Immaculate Constellation"
A recent report claims that the
Department of Defense has been concealing a secret retrieval program for unidentified flying objects (UFOs) from Congressional oversight since at least 2017.
The program, codenamed "Immaculate Constellation," was allegedly set up to "detect" and "quarantine" the military's best UFO imagery, including its best videos, eyewitness testimonies and other strong evidence of UFOs.
According to a United States government official who confirmed the leak, Immaculate Constellation has a treasure trove of high-quality, multi-sensor UFO data that is secured so tightly that "talking about it will put you in the danger zone."
The program was allegedly started in reaction to the 2017 leak of three, unexplained encounters the U.S. Navy had with UFOs – with the encounters recorded in infrared videos. (Related:

However, a Pentagon spokesperson denied the existence of the program. "The
Department of Defense has no record, present or historical, of any type of SAP [Special Access Program] called 'Immaculate Constellation,'" the spokesperson told the media on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
By law, classified programs like SAPs must be revealed to the so-called "Gang of Eight," the eight leaders within U.S. Congress who are briefed on classified intelligence, which includes the chairs and ranking members of the House and Senate Intelligence Committees and the leaders of the House and the Senate.
The source of the leaked report,
who provided the information to the independent news site Public, described the program as an "Unacknowledged Special Access Program," or USAP. This designation provides the program with rare secrecy privileges.
The existence of USAPs was first acknowledged decades ago, revealing to the public that government officials were legally authorized to lie to Congres and deny the existence of these programs.
Public's source alleged that these deceptions were becoming more commonplace due to issues surrounding unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) and non-human intelligence (NHI), or artificial intelligence.
"The Executive Branch has been managing UAP/NHI issues without Congressional knowledge, oversight, or authorization for some time, quite possibly decades," the unidentified whistleblower wrote in their report to Congress.
Immaculate Constellation USAP is a strategic intelligence program
The whistleblower who claims to have written the report to Congress described the "Immaculate Constellation" USAP as a "strategic intelligence program" and only one part of how the U.S. Armed Forces presently deals with the "problem" presented by the appearance of UAPs.
The whistleblower believes the purpose of the USAP was to hide such astonishing encounters.
In the whistleblower's report to Congress, the "Immaculate Constellation" is described as "a means of enforcing internal information security" by capturing recent UFO reports "before they are observed and circulated within the Military Intelligence Enterprise."
A second source, a former U.S. intelligence community official, who confirmed the credibility and existence of Immaculate Constellation to
Public, said the program is run out of Office of the Secretary of Defense.
The source also mentioned that the simple public remark of "Immaculate Constellation" would provoke government surveillance of those who publish it, under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.
