Liz Cheney BUSTED for tampering with January 6 "insurrection" witness Cassidy Hutchinson

Attorney and former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) is caught in another scandal, this time involving a Jan. 6, 2021, "insurrection" witness with whom she supposedly communicated in order to manipulate said witness into lying under oath about what happened that day. "Start J6 Witness" Cassidy Hutchinson, a former aide to White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, testified about how Donald Trump allegedly choked his Secret Service driver on January 6 during a discussion about where the former president should be taken: to the Capitol or to the West Wing. Here is a portion of what Hutchinson had to say on the stand during her testimony: "He had a very angry response to that," Hutchinson said about Trump. "Tony described him as being irate. The president said something to the effect of, 'I'm the ****ing president; take me up to the Capitol now,' to which Bobby (Engel, a Secret Service agent) responded, 'sir, we have to go back to the West Wing." "The president reached up towards the front of the vehicle to grab at the steering wheel. Mr. Engel grabbed his arm and said, 'sir, you need to take your hand off the steering wheel; we're going back to the West Wing – we're not going to the Capitol.' Mr. Trump then used his free hand to lunge toward Bobby Engel." (Related: Did you hear? Several J6 participants are suing the government for police misconduct and brutality.)

Liz Cheney tampered with a witness, obstructed justice

As you can see, Hutchinson was very careful in selecting each word that came out of her mouth, almost like she had been coached by someone about what to say and how to say it. It turns out that Cheney had, in fact, communicated with Hutchinson via Signal in a series of messages that was obtained by House Oversight Chairman Barry Loudermilk. "In the months prior to Hutchinson's explosive private and public testimony, Cheney communicated with Hutchinson, both directly and through an intermediary – Alyssa Farah Griffin – while Hutchinson was represented by her attorney, Stefan Passantino," the Oversight Committee said. "The Select Committee conducted six transcribed interviews of Hutchinson in total. Passantino represented Hutchinson for the first three interviews." Take a look at the text images below to see what Cheney and her intermediary were saying to Hutchinson: What Hutchinson said and what Secret Service said was contradictory, so someone was lying. And it appears that the someone was Hutchinson, who was manipulated by Cheney and Griffin to lie under oath – this is also known as witness tampering. "Liz Cheney needs to be held accountable," someone wrote on X / Twitter about the scandal. "I said the other day that she's not kissing Kamala and the Democrats' butts for no reason," wrote another. "Cassidy Hutchinson also lied and said she wrote the J6 note which was clearly not her handwriting," said another. "She perjured herself multiple times and Liz Cheney tampered with a witness calling her behind their lawyers' backs. Liz also obstructed justice. They both should go to prison."
