Ben Shapiro: Trump will put Mike Pompeo and David Friedman in charge of 'Israel policy'

Ben Shapiro is claiming to have inside knowledge that Donald Trump will most likely hire Mike Pompeo and David Friedman to be in charge of his "Israel policy" if he is reelected. (Article by Chris Menahan republished from InformationLiberation.com) Shapiro, a former NeverTrumper who bitterly opposed Trump's "America First" campaign in 2016, has been shilling hard for Trump to become president due to the former president's pro-Israel bona fides. Shapiro told Zionist activists Sam Harris and Bari Weiss on Tuesday that "on [Trump's] Israel policy, Mike Pompeo and David Friedman are the most likely people to be in the administration ... I know precisely the people talking to him -- I'm not speculating about that." Shapiro went on to say that he's the "victim" of anti-Semitism and boasted about how he took Trump to visit the grave of Chabad-Lubavitch Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneersohn. "Trump is the most pro-Israel president in American history," Shapiro said, insisting he will be better for Israel than Harris. David Friedman, the former US Ambassador to Israel under the Trump administration, last month released a book pushing a plan to have Israel annex the West Bank and American taxpayers foot the bill. As I said at the time: "We've gone from Trump in 2016 saying 'We're gonna build a wall and make Mexico pay for it!' to Trump's Israel advisor in 2024 saying 'We're gonna annex the West Bank and make Americans pay for it!'" Back in June, Friedman threw a fit on X over anti-Israel protests at college campuses and demanded that Americans be imprisoned en masse for "antisemitism." Pompeo is similarly an Israel Firster who reportedly convinced Trump to assassinate Iranian Gen. Qasem Soleimani after being fed fake intel by Israel painting the IRGC leader as an "immediate threat." Pompeo, who was the CIA Director under Trump, also reportedly plotted to have Julian Assange assassinated. The prospect of Pompeo's alleged plot to have Julian Assange assassinated coming out in court may have been the catalyst for the Biden administration to give the Wikileaks founder a plea deal earlier this year. Trump's transition chairman Howard Lutnick told Michael Tracey earlier this month that Jared Kushner will be "actively helping" Trump find "talent" to staff his administration. Israel First billionaire Democrat Bill Ackman also said his friends would help staff Trump's administration back in June. Read more at: InformationLiberation.com
