Biden DHS official promotes ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION on social media, watchdog organization reveals
A non-profit government oversight and research organization recently reported that a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official has been
promoting illegal immigration through social media.
According to the detailed report from the American Accountability Foundation, Wilson Osorio, an associate counsel with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS), has been utilizing social media to communicate with potential border crossers.
"Osorio uses his TikTok, YouTube and Instagram channels to post video content, mostly of conversations with illegal immigrants, where he asks the individuals to tell those watching how much money they make, how they came to the United States, and how wonderful it is to illegally enter and settle in the United States," the report indicated.
The watchdog's President Thomas Jones told Fox News Digital that conservatives must remove far-left career policymakers.
"What this ends up showing us is that these are people who are not unbiased, not people who are objective people. These are people who have an agenda. And look, that's fine," Jones said. "You can have an agenda, but we can't expect those people to come into a conservative administration and say, well, on January 19th I was working on a policy I love on finding out how we can get as many migrants as possible into the United States, and then on January 22nd say, you know what I'm going to do? I'm gonna come up with the most effective policy to deport all of those people I brought into the country."
He added that if people believe that that's how these people are going to behave, "they're just out of touch with how the administrative state really works."
Since the report was released on Aug. 27, Osorio adjusted his online presence by making his TikTok and YouTube accounts private. He also removed his LinkedIn profile.
But before that, Osorio's posts told stories about
border crossers who were "successful" in entering the United States illegally. One Instagram video on his account highlighted a Honduran immigrant who is now in the restaurant industry.
"The American Dream is alive and well. This is the story of a Honduran immigrant who entered the United States illegally, 20 years ago. With hard work and dedication, he is now the owner of an expanding restaurant which brings in over $1 million in sales," his Instagram description said.
Additional posts have described experiences of illegal immigrants obtaining work permits and citizenship. Some testimonials describe financial achievements made possible by work in the U.S. despite initial illegal entry. Other examples include a video that identified a migrant as earning $1,000 a week selling fruit. There was also a clip of an illegal immigrant who advised others who wanted to cross illegally into the U.S., warning them about the dangers, including smugglers and the heat of the desert.
"In three years, my daughters and I already have papers in the United States," another video is titled. The report indicated that despite crossing illegally, having three daughters helped her get protection from deportation. She even ultimately received a work permit.
In a separate video, an illegal invader is thankful for receiving amnesty and is now a citizen. Former President Ronald Reagan granted amnesty to nearly three million illegal immigrants back in 1986. "I got papers through amnesty and now I am a citizen," the person bragged.
Another Honduran was able to work in the United States after illegally crossing the border. "Thanks to my work here, I built a house in Honduras and I will soon be moving back," the immigrant said in one of Osorio's posts. (Related:

Mace, Republican lawmakers demand Osorio be fired
Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC), along with her co-GOP lawmakers demanded that Osorio, the USCIS employee, be
fired for enticing illegal immigrants to flout U.S. laws.
"Encouraging illegal immigration is not compassionate, it is cruel. The treacherous journey for illegal aliens from Latin America to the United States is controlled by criminal cartels and coyotes, who force illegal aliens, including women and children, into indentured servitude, sex slavery and drug trafficking to pay their way to the United States," the lawmakers said.
Mace was joined in the demand for his termination by Reps. Andy Harris (R-MD), Ralph Norman (R-SC) and Jeff Duncan (R-SC). They emphasized that Osorio's posts came "while receiving his taxpayer-funded salary from USCIS, the agency charged with overseeing lawful immigration."
They also argued how Osorio's "promotion" of illegal immigration is a "scourge on our nation," noting that since fiscal year 2021, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol has "encountered at least 392 illegal aliens on the terrorist watchlist."
"We have already seen countless American citizens assaulted, raped, and murdered by illegal aliens who have no right to be in our country. These criminal aliens who enter our country illegally – which is being
encouraged by Wilson Osorio – pose a serious threat to American citizens," the GOP solons added.
