Mike Adams Sermon 38: Jesus is a REVOLUTIONARY who brought FREEDOM to humanity

The 38th sermon of the Health Ranger Mike Adams for the Church of Natural Abundance touched on Jesus Christ being a revolutionary who brought freedom to humanity. He based his sermon on St. Paul's letter to the Colossians. As reflected in the apostle's letter, Jesus repeatedly spoke out against the corruption of the church and the government. Adams said this made the Messiah a revolutionary – which led to His death on the cross at the hands of the Jews. "Jesus is a revolutionary. He freed humanity not just in terms of the spirit, but also … from the treacherous, imprisoned philosophies of the Old Testament [and] the Old World," he said. The Bible nutrition educator continued that Jesus also liberated humanity from "the corrupt Jewish priests that demanded everybody follow all their little silly rituals, 'Do what we say but not what we do' and all that nonsense." This is because Christ Himself has purified their soul through His sacrifice on the cross. The Church is the body of Christ, and it is the body of people who are believers walking in faith with Christ. Given this, the early Christian believers expanded the Church by going out and teaching. They set up churches in many different cities and towns, including the city of Colossae, and ran missions to recruit Gentiles and those from other religions.

Christ's teachings are much more INCLUSIVE of all humanity

The Bible nutrition educator also mentioned that Christ's teachings in the New Testament are much more inclusive of all humanity. Compared to that of the Old Testament, they are not just limited to one ethnic group like the Jews. Christ and His disciples have reiterated that believers don't have to follow the ancient Jewish rituals, requirements and the Abrahamic original covenant. This is because the Messiah has set humanity free, and all people can join in His body, which is the Church. To this end, the Church is working to help mankind walk in the footsteps of Jesus so that they may obtain perfection with Christ. Most importantly, Christ took all the old contracts of the Old Testament Jewish tradition when He was nailed on the cross. He wiped them clean and nullified them with His sacrifice, establishing a new covenant. Christ also triumphed over the the so-called principalities and powers represented by corrupt church and government leaders. His victory over the dark forces in the spiritual world nullified the spiritual ties that the Jewish religious leaders held over their own people. Given Jesus' liberating actions, Adams said the Messiah has voided the Jewish rituals and traditions and set the Jews free from them. They now only need to answer to God the Father, the ultimate authority. Adams noted that the human race has been a slave race before the time of Christ, given that it is bound to an ancient covenant with God that was impossible to fulfill.
