Stephen Miller, the incoming White House deputy chief of staff, promising "a new golden era" under Trump

In an appearance this week on Fox News' "Hannity" program, incoming White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller used new-age language to describe "a new golden era" that he says is coming after Donald Trump is inaugurated in January. The return of Trump means that a "new golden era" is coming, Miller explained to host Sean Hannity, a Fox News icon who at one point was skeptical about Trump and his agenda. "After nine years, we are here on the heels of a landslide like the world has never seen before, prepared under President Trump's leadership to implement historical, transformative, long-awaited change to make this government accountable to the people of this country once again," Miller said to Hannity. "It will be, as Donald Trump said, a new golden age for America." (Related: How can there be a "golden age" if the United States is in the throes of a financial collapse, which will be followed by the Mark of the Beast?)

Government will be slashed under Trump

During their discussion, Miller and Hannity also brought up the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which Trump plans to have run by billionaire electric vehicle (EV) guru Elon Musk and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. The plan with DOGE is to slash federal spending by an astounding $2 trillion by 2026. Trump is ready and waiting to pounce on the system and its decades-long corruption from day one of his second term, Miller promised. Getting to the bottom of the Washington swamp is not an easy task. The Pentagon's so-called "audits" have produced nothing of substance, and the federal bureaucracy has only continued to swell while Americans get poorer and sicker. Only those who are actually serving the public interest will remain under Trump, Miller says. And serving the public interest will be somewhat redefined under Trump from what it currently is with a greater focus on things like energy independence, which will boost prosperity across the board. "For the first time, we've heard conservatives for years talk about limited government, cutting waste, fraud, and abuse," Miller explained. "Now, for the first time in my adult life, I believe it's going to happen. How real is it that they're going to cut to that extent?" Trump's "dream team," as Miller called it, will get going on day one removing all waste and corruption, at least as the Trump administration defines these things, from the system. "They will do this in concert with the White House, President Trump, and the Office of Management and Budget," Miller said about how Musk and Ramaswamy plan to proceed. "Here's the shocking truth, Sean: the departments have no clue where the dollars are going. How many audits has the Pentagon failed? Who has any idea how much waste and abuse exist in the trillions of dollars spent by this federal government?" Hundreds of billions of dollars are stolen every single year from the public purse via fraud rings, scammers, and foreign operations, Miller further warned. Trump wants to stop all this and return all that money to the American people who worked hard for it. "We're going to go into these agencies and find everyone who is not performing on behalf of the American public. If they're not providing a service, if they're not serving the public, then they can go." At the top of the priority list for the incoming Trump administration is deporting illegal aliens and securing America's border. This alone will have a dramatic impact on the American economy, followed by everything else Trump plans to do on "Liberation Day," also known as Jan. 20, 2025, and beyond.
