Biden regime SABOTAGES Senate vote to block arms sales to Israel; staffers decry the Big Guy's "legacy of horror" in Gaza
The outgoing Biden regime is
at odds with the United States Congress over continued arms support for Israel.
Officials in Washington have launched a lobbying campaign to convince Democrat senators to vote against new legislation that would put an end to the $20 billion worth of weapons the U.S. is selling to Israel so it can bomb Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
"Biden aides have argued that the weapons in question are essential for Israel's defense and won't be delivered for another year or two, 'so the likelihood of them being used in this iteration of the Gaza context is very low,'" reported the
Times of Israel, quoting U.S. officials.
White House officials, in partnership with officials from the State Department and the Pentagon, have reached out to "various lawmakers on the fence about how they might vote" on the bill to try to convince them to vote against it so the weapons and ammunition continue flowing to the Zionist state.

Bernie Sanders behind bill to stop U.S. arms sales to Israel
None other than Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, an Independent, introduced the Joint Resolutions of Disapproval highlighting Washington's breaking of laws that prohibit the transfer of weapons to governments that commit human rights violations.
Sens. Jeff Merkley, Brian Schatz, Elizabeth Warren, Peter Welch, and Chris Van Hollen all back the resolutions, which emerged around the same time that an internal government dissent letter emerged to criticize President Biden for his unwavering support for Israel and its genocide.
"You are running out of time to do the right thing, but decisive action could save precious lives in the next two months," reads the letter, which was crafted by 20 "current, full-time employees of the White House."
"One thing that drew me into this was legacy," a senior White House staffer, upset about Biden's support for Israel, told the media. "If the course is continued, it will be a legacy of horror."
Another staffer told
The Intercept that he or she just felt like something needed to happen here "as an act of trying to get to the straw that breaks the camel's back – even if this isn't it,"
this referring to the letter.
As Israeli aggression against the people of Gaza has intensified over the past year, the Biden regime has continued to authorize the sending of weapons, ammo and cash to the Benjamin Netanyahu regime, which is using it to kill Palestinians not just in Gaza but also in Lebanon – and with no regard whatsoever for international humanitarian law.
The State Department and the Pentagon had earlier promised to take "concrete measures" against Israel for blocking the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, but later walked back that promise. The two deep state entities also declined to make a finding that the Israeli government violated the law.
Because there is strong bipartisan support for continuing to support Israel at all costs, Sanders' efforts are likely to lead nowhere. Israel is in charge, and the American people are apparently okay with this as evidenced by the results of Election Day.
"It's mainly Republicans in Congress who are committed to supporting Israel," one commenter wrote, noting that all three branches of government will be controlled by Republicans come January.
"Withholding weapons shipments is unquestionably the right choice for America generally," suggested another. "But the Democrats know this is not going to pass, and they don't want it to pass. The Democrats up for reelection just want it on the record. It's just politics."
