During the 2020 presidential campaign, Biden dismissed his son's laptop scandal as a “Russian plant,” a claim that has since been thoroughly discredited. Even as recently as March 2024, Biden insisted he “did not interact with their partners,” referring to Hunter’s business associates. The newly released photos make it clear that this statement is false. Adding to the controversy, Biden recently issued a sweeping pardon for Hunter covering any crimes he may have committed from 2014 to 2024. This includes potential charges related to his foreign business dealings, which could implicate not just Hunter but also his father. Critics argue that the pardon is an attempt to shield the Biden family from further scrutiny. Only 20% of Americans support the pardon, yet Biden’s allies, including Sen.
