Attention RFK Jr. and Trump: A great start to MAHA - HEAVILY TAX canola oil, aspartame, MSG and high fructose corn syrup so junk food becomes expensive

  • Taxation of Harmful Ingredients: Implement heavy taxes on ingredients like canola oil, aspartame, MSG, and high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) to make junk food too expensive for the average person, thus reducing consumption and addressing health issues like obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.
  • Ban or Tax Unhealthy Products: Outlaw or heavily tax canola oil and other unhealthy oils, as well as HFCS, which are major contributors to rapid weight gain, memory loss, cancer, and dementia. This would force food manufacturers to use healthier alternatives.
  • Restrict Welfare Benefits: Prevent food stamps from being used to purchase junk food, and impose taxes on Big Food manufacturers of these unhealthy products to combat rising rates of childhood diseases and disorders. This would make unhealthy food less accessible to those most vulnerable.
One key way to make America healthy again would be to make all junk food so expensive that the average person couldn’t afford to keep buying it. Problem solved. The main reason most people eat fast food is because it’s so cheap and convenient. That’s why most Americans are obese, diabetic, and fighting cancer and heart disease. During the Bush era, the U.S. government subsidized high fructose corn syrup, driving the price of all sugary products that used it down, and driving the rates of cancer, diabetes, obesity, and heart disease way up. It’s time to tax the hell out of junk-science food stuff like canola oil, aspartame (that makes you hungrier for sweets), monosodium glutamate (MSG), and HFCS, the devil of all sweeteners.

A great start to MAHA would be to heavily tax canola oil, aspartame, MSG and high fructose corn syrup so junk food becomes too expensive

For starters, welfare food stamps should NOT be able to purchase junk food. Next, Trump needs to impose a heavy tax on all these Big Food manufacturers of the very junk science food stuff products that are driving childhood disease and disorders rates through the roof. Simple fix. Tax the junk food products and ingredients here in the United States and everything these corporate junk food kings import also. Imagine if everyone had to spend $10 to get a cheeseburger at McDonald’s, Burger King, Arby’s or Wendy’s. Imagine if Taco Bell tacos cost $5 each. What if a “Happy Meal” cost $7? What if sugary children’s cereals cost $12 a box? What about all candy, imagine if a candy bar cost $8. What about a bag of Doritos loaded with MSG and seed oils? If that bag cost $7.50 instead of $2.00, nobody would buy it anymore. Canola oil is used to process nearly every product of junk food in this country. It’s not really food, it’s super cheap, and it causes rapid weight gain, memory loss, cancer and dementia. It should be outlawed. If it can’t get outlawed, then tax it heavily so these food manufacturers have to switch to olive oil or avocado oil. Tax corn oil and soybean oil heavily also. Make America healthy again through taxation of junk food ingredients. It’s that simple and it would work, at least as a great starting point.

High Fructose Corn Syrup is possibly the evilest food ingredient on the planet, along with bleached white refined table sugar

There are major health risks associated with consuming high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) and regular bleached white refined table sugar too, both of which contain approximately equal parts fructose and glucose. Key points:
  1. Metabolism Differences: Fructose is metabolized differently from glucose. It must be processed by the liver before being utilized, unlike glucose, which is readily used by cells.
  2. Health Issues from Excess Fructose: Consuming too much fructose from HFCS or table sugar can lead to health problems. This is more concerning than the fructose found naturally in fruits and vegetables, as it is easier to consume excessive amounts of added sugars.
  3. Fatty Liver Disease: High fructose intake can lead to increased liver fat, potentially causing fatty liver disease and type 2 diabetes over time.
  4. Obesity and Weight Gain: Excessive sugar consumption, including HFCS, is linked to obesity and weight gain. Fructose does not stimulate appetite control in the brain as effectively as glucose, and it can promote harmful visceral fat accumulation.
  5. Increased Calorie Intake: The increased availability of HFCS and sugar has contributed to higher daily calorie intake, a significant factor in weight gain.
The overall message is that excessive consumption of HFCS and table sugar, which are high in fructose, can lead to various health issues, including liver problems and obesity. The focus is on the added sugars rather than the natural fructose found in fruits and vegetables, which are promoted.
