Left-wing lunatics abandon all logic, claim protecting women's sports is somehow a "white supremacist" policy
There is an expression born recently out of the Marxist Democratic left's overuse of the term "racism" to describe every institution in America, and it is this: "If everything is racism, nothing is racism."
Everything can't be 'racist' or a demonstration of 'racism' because not everything
is racist. Laws by design to, say, shore up election integrity aren't 'racist' when those very same laws protect the ballots of
everyone, not just white people (or blacks, or Hispanics, etc.).
And yet, as we've seen for the past month, corporate CEOs bitten by the "woke" bug, along with nearly every Democratic politician in and out of Georgia, have claimed that law is 'racist' because they have fabricated ill-intent behind the Republican push to pass the law strictly as a means of protecting the votes of
all Georgians.
Another favorite term of the left to describe literally every political, social and cultural act of conservatives is "white supremacy."
It's 'white supremacy' to oppose goofy, pointless "climate change" legislation. It was Georgia Republicans' desire to perpetual "white supremacy" in the state but protecting ballots. It's 'white supremacy' to want children back in school instead of keeping them in remote learning environments that are harming them (all children, not just white kids).
And now, it's 'white supremacy' to oppose allowing biological men to destroy women's sports.
That's what former U.S. National
Women's Soccer player Lori Lindsey believes anyway -- even if she can't really explain why.
“These bills do uphold white supremacy under the guise of protecting women’s sport when we actually know that women’s sport, protection of it, would be to have more funding, have more women in leadership positions, equal pay,” Lindsey said recently during a CBS News interview. “Reality, though, is that these trans youth just want to participate with their friends and play sport just like everyone else.”
This buffoonery comes amid a spate of measures being proposed and passed in several states protecting the integrity of female sports from confused males who 'identify' as a girl and bring their superior physical strength and abilities with them.
Mind you, this abject lunacy also comes after the Democrat left literally spent
decades fighting for women's rights (remember the whole 'feminism' movement?), to include allowing women to form their own sports teams and leagues, beginning in high school.
Now, after all that time invested in elevating all-female sports competitions, the same Democrat left is trying to tear it all down by grasping onto
the transgender movement and utilizing it to drive yet another wedge between fundamental scientific facts (there are only two sexes) as well as the larger American society as a whole.
Though the very far left mainstream media is generally on board with whatever their party wants, CBS anchor Lana Zak did, at least, try to follow up, asking Lindsey how she would approach a parent who believes the issue is “just about sports to see that there’s actually a greater debate that this is a proxy for?”
“It’s not about coming in and taking over women’s sport. It’s about just having the access to the lessons that sport teach us," she said, avoiding the racial bomb she just threw.
"That should be upheld across this country because years ago, we decided that discrimination is not right in this country and that we need to continue to provide access and that everyone should have equal opportunity," she added.
Another typical tactic of the left: Approve of certain forms of discrimination in order to claim that you're against all forms of dissemination.
Like,
it is clearly discriminatory to allow biological males to compete against biological females, just like it is clearly discriminatory to censor someone's speech because someone else doesn't want to hear it.
The Democrats have nearly completely destroyed our founding institutions and fundamental societal truths. Restoring them won't be easy or quick, but it has to be done.
