Russian schoolchildren are learning drone technology while U.S. students focus on “gender ideology”

Russian students are now getting lessons in combat readiness, according to a senior official, with schoolchildren learning about drone technology for both industrial and military applications. According to Russian Senator Artem Sheikin, some of the topics that will be covered in schools include how to counter enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and carry out terrain reconnaissance. The lessons on operating UAVs will be part of the “Basics of Life Safety” syllabus. Students in years 10 and 11 will also be trained in operating hand grenades and assault rifles. Meanwhile, Deputy Education Minister Tatyana Vasilyeva has announced that students will also be spending more time on technical drawing with a view to working better with blueprints. The news comes as Russia continues to battle Ukraine, where drones have become a key weapon. In one recent incident, a group of 11 Russian armored vehicles and tanks were destroyed by kamikaze drones. There are also reports that Russian schoolchildren in some areas have been forced to make supplies for the Ukraine war, such as parts for flying grenades that are dropped by kamikaze drones. Local channel Nokrat reported that students in the Republic of Tatarstan were adding the finishing touches to 3D-printed tails that will be attached to grenades to help them better hit their target. The components mimic grenade tails and help to stabilize their flight when they are deployed by drones. At another school in Tatarstan, students have been making canes and crutches for soldiers who are injured on the front lines as part of a broader trend toward militarizing the country’s educational system. Russian President Vladimir Putin also recently signed a new law requiring students in elementary and middle schools to take classes in woodworking, sawing and repairs. Some intelligence analysts have said that while building combat capability is certainly something Russia would want to pursue, these measures are also about nurturing a feeling of nationalism there.

American students are learning to question their gender and critical race theory

While Russia teaches children combat readiness and warfare-related skills, American schools are focusing their efforts on teaching students topics like gender ideology and telling them that biological sex is not real. Many schools are more worried about whether their teachers are using students’ “preferred pronouns” and playing along with whatever gender they’re pretending to be than making sure they are teaching students things that are actually useful and will serve them well in life. In one California kindergarten class, teachers told students that their sex was decided randomly at birth and told them they need to now discover what their gender really is – and informed them that anyone who questions why they are doing this is "abusing" them. The California Teachers Association even voted to allow kids to leave during school hours so they can receive dangerous and irreversible transsexual hormones without permission from their parents. Numerous teachers and schools are telling young people that they may be trapped in the wrong body. American students in many parts of the country are also wasting time on critical race theory. In some cases, teachers are convincing children they are racist, that being white is wrong, and that America is an inherently and irreversibly racist country. In other words, while Russian students are taught to be patriotic and defend their country, American students are being taught that their nation is racist and they should question their gender. Needless to say, this does not bode well for America’s future global standing. Sources for this article include: DailyMail.co.uk NYPost.com EuroNews.com
